This has been our regular destination for past few years, unfortunately during this visit, the pool slides were closed for the exact duration of our stay so the kids missed out on that, and there was a wedding group the same time so we couldn’t get any bookings at the hair and beauty salon due to wedding group having booked it for the Sat we were there and the salon was closed on Sunday. Bad timing. The resort itself is wonderful, clean rooms, spacious, great service, staff are awesome, Bazaar restaurant is amazing, they even made my daughter’s birthday super special by singing her Happy Birthday in both Fijian and English, and they were better than many professional bands!!!

Honestly, this was one of the most well-presented resorts we have ever had the pleasure of staying in! Our room was immaculate and all facilities were well-kept, maintained and presented - well done to the entire team!!!

Sofitel was a beautiful stay. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. They were personal and even remembered your name. The rooms were clean and luxuarious and we enjoyed the rum bar, and Kai Wai water sports. We had dinner at Solis restaurant where the service was great, the food was amazing and we even had a free upgrade to on the beach dining. Definitely a 10/10 stay, and wished we stayed for longer.

There was construction on the property, which was the only negative for the property. But it wasn’t overly loud, even with the construction ongoing. What I was most impressed with was the fact that I was allowed to return to the hotel four days after I had checked out. They stored my luggage and let me use their public WiFi while I waited for my evening flight home. I was so appreciative for that courtesy and because of that I more inclined to stay with Sofitel on other trips in other locations.

Expensive, but quality hotel. Staff are super professional and helpful. Easy distance to local shops and cafes as well as the airport. Great pool and rooms were lovely.

Very poor customer service and not very welcoming. Our young daughter had vomited all over herself in the taxi on our way to the resort, and on arrival I asked for an early check in so that we could get her cleaned up. We then had to wait for over an hour and a half in the lobby in smelly swimwear with vomit on it (even though the duty manager told us our room would be ready in 10-15mins) without once being offered directions to a wash room etc. This was extremely embarrassing and showed no compassion. I also asked at the lobby about flight check in and airport transfer times. The next morning the airline laughed at me when I said what time our transfer was and said I needed to change it otherwise we would miss our flight which caused last minute and unnecessary stress at 4:30am. The beds were uncomfortable and creaky. Overall, a very disappointing end to our trip to Fiji, and it's fair to say we won't be coming back to the Sofitel.

Amazing hotel & super friendly staff! We stayed in the adult section & they all knew our names by the second day. Food was great. Definitely will stay at Sofitel next time we are in Fiji.

We spent 10 days at Sofitel and we all had an amazing time as a family. Absolutely five stars! We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in Fiji.
