The public bath let you soak your tired body after a day of long walk. Walking distance from Kyoto station if not too many luggage’s with you.

This was hands down the best hotel of our entire month in Japan. Absolutely without a doubt.
Location wise, so convenient and central. Easily walkable to basically anywhere you need to go and central to all public transport.
Our room was so well appointed, we felt like we had maybe been given the wrong room - especially compared to other hotels we stayed at with similar price points. Thoughtful and functional layout and I was so impressed with their commitment to reducing plastic by offering insulated tumblers in your room with filtered water stations on each level.
We so look forward to coming back next time we’re in Kyoto!

Hotel very well located, super clean and with good amenities. Excellent quality / price ratio! Have not used the restaurant for breakfast so I can’t give an opinion about it. Really cool that they had in each floor, cold water fountains to fill our water bottles! Only thing to improve maybe are the pillows….to have two or three options would be better (the one we had was like almost not having one). In any case, we would repeat for sure.

Keio Prelia Hotel Kyoto Karasuma Gojo is a stunning little property that ticked all our boxes on our recent trip.
We had a very comfortable stay, with a convenient location enabling ease of access to public transport for day trips, but also walking distance for shorter adventures.
Staff service was also of a high calibre.
Happily recommend and would also return to Keio Prelia Hotel Kyoto Karasuma Gojo should we make it back to Japan in the future.

This is a fantastic hotel which is certainly value for money. Nicely decorated with plenty of amenities and best of all a very central location. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The first negative issues was the little cube fridge didn’t stay cold , barely cold enough for bottled
Secondly, the air filter didn’t stay on for more than 10 minutes and wouldn’t turn back on after many tries. I never found the remote if there was one.

Room was way too small, absolutely no space to put suitcases. You have to wait to available laundry machine. When washing and drying cycle is done the clothes are still damp but there is no space to dry them in the room

The room was very comfortable, clean and, by Japanese standard, spacious. However, some hotel staff could not communicate in English efficiently. Some young staff, though speaking English sufficiently well, just treated guests in a bussiness-like manner without any warmth or smiles. I think hotel management really have to put in more training efforts to instil some passion in their staff.

Kyoto station was close by. Family mart less than 5 minutes away. Staff friendly and spoke good English. The public bath was a plus. Will definitely stay here again if given the chance

We loved staying here. It was in between stations. Very walkable. A Family Mart pretty much next door. The staff was friendly, room was so nice and the bath was a plus. Would highly recommend.

The hotel was more than what my wife and I expected. Since you get to the front desk you know that your stay it's going to be spectacular! The onsen after a long day of tourism is something else. Definitely when I return to Kyoto I will stay here
