This place is gorgeous, clean, and well-maintained. We had a blast and our kids have already asked to go back. The rooms are beautiful and priced well, but the reasonable room price goes out the window if you buy anything on or near the property. In other words, prices both on property and off are astronomical. I live in a city and I’m used to this, but this was something else entirely. For example, two grown-up drinks and two Sprites cost me nearly $50 at the pool bar. An egg and cheese sandwich, fruit cup, blueberry muffin, and two coffees cost me $60. Restaurants offsite are no better. It kind of became a joke by the end. Also, keep in mind that they will charge you the resort fee even if you arrive at night. Our flight was later in the day and we arrived after the pool had closed and beach service had ended, but we were still charged a $43 resort fee. I didn’t realize until we got home and looked at the receipt. There are also no microwaves in the rooms, though there are refrigerators. I’m assuming this is to keep you from eating breakfast in your room, but having one would’ve saved us a fortune. We also could have reheated our leftovers.

We absolutely love this resort and wish we had stayed longer than just a one night stopover. Next time we head to Florida we will stay for longer.

We were here for a conference. Beer down by the pool or in the restaurants was $8. At the conference they jacked it up to $14. This was a pretty large group of close to 400 people. Why they felt the need to rip people off for another $6 is questionable to me. The area out by the pool is under construction so we had a lot of noise. When we asked for an hour extra for late checkout, we were told it would be an extra $50 to $100. This is after staying 5 nights and spending almost $3,000 on clients in this hotel. Next time we will find somewhere close.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this Margaritaville. The property is showing some age. One of the sinks in our room didn't work, the water pressure is horrible and we were only on the 14th (of 18) floors. The room was clean but dated. And whoever puts a barndoor on a bathroom, really doesn't know what they are doing for a job. That is the dumbest thing ever.
The staff is usually always friendly and helpful and this time did not disappoint.
The lobby area is always clean, nice and smells of their signature smell. The rest of the property smells like pot. Open your balcony - pot. Go out by the pools - pot. Walk up and down the boardwalk - pot. The area seems to get getting worse as there is now more police presence and the some "interesting" people wandering around. The boardwalk area is nice to walk up and down as there are a few decent places to shop and eat.
If you bring your own (or rental) car, know that it's $43/day to park there. It's a quick trip from FLL if you're flying in so if you don't need a car, it's easy to get a taxi (or rideshare).
Overall - it's still a nice place to stay, but it's slowly becoming not worth the price.

We really like how everything was clean and updated. Everyone was friendly, it was not crowded and the food at the the restaurants was great. Loved that we were able ro go.shopping close by.

Excellent service, clean and quiet room with great oceanfront view. If you want a party, just leave your room and go outside to the pool area that has a DJ and games, and the Hollywood boardwalk is right outside the gates. Excellent restaurants within walking distance off the boardwalk on the entrance side. Really enjoyed my stay and was even able to check in early @ 12:00pm.

Loud ceiling fan and AC roof top unit (tight above our room 1807) made our nights miserable though.
