It was a great trip. Nice and quiet before the weekend got busy. Unfortunately the pool hoist wasn't working properly to enjoy the pool. But we do look forward to coming back.

Needed a hotel close to the Country Calling music festival. Hotel Monte Carlo was a great location and a good value. Stayed fully aware that it is an older hotel on the ocean so didn't expect shiny and new. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were responsive to requests, and Anna was a cheerful, friendly, and helpful face at the front desk.

Easy check in, nice employees. Room was on 3rd floor, smelt of cigarette first day, told front desk and was much better the next day. Easy check out. All employees were very nice and helpful.

We checked in late Saturday afternoon and met Anna and Carol behind the front desk. Anna helped to resolve a reservation problem and solved it for us. She was great. Carol was there the two nights and three days we were there and was always very friendly and ready to press the automatic door opener whether we were leaving to walk the Boards or coming back late night. Room was very roomy and clean. The sheets were clean but very stained.

It's a typical OC room, outdated, not the cleanest looking, cracked walls etc. Parking sucks, the main lot is across the street and unless you drive a VW bug you aren't getting in or out. I drive an F150 it's not the biggest truck but they had to send me over a block away to a different lot. Super inconvenient. Also, only 1 elevator for 6 floors so you're definitely waiting at times.

The person in front dest was very rude to me and racist. I had never felt so bad in any hotel. It was a bad experience.

Upon arrival they gave my room away made the guest leave my room didn’t clean my room up the room was filthy the bed was broke and the staff was rude.

The bed had bedbugs The shower head was full of calcium buildup so only a couple of holes sprayed water, which made it inconvenient to shower and there was mold on the ceiling tiles We checked out a day early. I knew the policy was that we would not be able to get our money back, but the experience was bad so we didn’t care.
