When I arrived at the property they told me there was not any reservations for me , that they are having problems with Expedia because they have no rooms available and Expedia continues selling reservations. But I think the hotel sold my reservation because everything was going well ., I call the hotel when I was in my way to tell them I was 30 minutes late and they told me it was fine but when I got the hotel everything change in a bad way, the lady that was in reception was acting weird she didn’t allowed other receptionist to find any information about my reservation, she just told him no to find anything that the hotel was full. That was a terrible experience.

The rooms are not sound proof at all, it was impossible to sleep. I could hear everything from the other rooms, and all the cars from the street. The pipes and drains are exposed in bathroom ceiling so you can hear water coming down all the time.

The room we were assigned was big and clean, it had a great view of the lake. The staff member were nice, but very limited on their ability to help. The problem was the parking lot next to the room, it had a dog (poor thing was chained and barked a lot), and also a rooster who started to crow at around 3-4 am and did not stop. There is no way to get food, not even coffee until around 8:30 am when their restaurant opens. And, when my husband was showering in the morning, the hot water stopped running and he had to finish his shower with freezing cold water.

The hotel is in mid construction, noisy, you hear everybody and not accesible for humans, instead of stairs to the lobby it has a ramo that feels like a rappel wall, no phone, no ac and the bathroom is open top so you hear and smell everything, also no blackout drapes.

The view of the hotel is amazing. And the service is excellent, but walk to room from the from desk and street is to difficult.

The rooms are very clean, equipped with lovely jacuzzi baths, and command a lovely view of the lake. We felt the hotel service was excellent and the restaurant had a pleasant "family" feel. These people are "great people," there isn't a sense of coldness about the place. The pools were lovely, but when we stayed there, just a little dirty (mucky?), which is common for Mexico. (Chlorine is not in general use there, we have found.) All in all, wholly positive with the exception of the truck, ATV, and radio noise which wafts up from the street and from other apartments: I recommend bringing an oscillating fan or other device as a "white noise" generator. Fortunately they had one to lend us. Great place!
