Carpark needed a clean mouldy food an boxes on the floor made me feel ill

On arrival the receptionist was lovely, gave us an upgrade and late checkout, however when we travelled through the hotel we noticed a damp musty smell, then when we enered the room it smelt of wet dog, there was also a dog poo bag on the outter window ledge. The beds were of a very wobbly sructure, that I just wouldn't of been comfortable to sleep in without the treat of collapse. We decided to leave. On our way back down to the reception, the receptionist was laying across the sofas in the dining area. The reception was unmanned. We booked a hotel close by and stayed there instead.

Me and my little family were sxcited to come and stay here. We arrived an hour after the check in time given for the staff to then ask us another 45 mins as the room hasnt been cleaned. We werent happy about this as we were tired and wanted to get into the room to relax. The "double bed" in the room was the smallest double bed ive seen. The shower hot water took a long time to heat up for a shower in the morning. Some guests came back around 10pm the night we stayed and were up talking nd laughing very loudly until midnight, so me and my partner didnt get to sleep until past that. It seems the guest also brought more people into their room as it got louder and louder with no respect for other guests staying and sleeping at that time. There was a number to message which we did with our concerns in these people staying next to us, but we got no answer and no follow up message in the morning. We originally booked 2 nights there but decided to leave and not stay another night due to the bad experience we have had here. Someone should be manning the desk down stairs, especially if people are going to start bringing in randoms into their room and keep everyone up till gone midnight. We arent happy at all with this hotel and our stay. So please aviod this hotel! The pictures are nothing like the actual rooms either!!

Staff were amazing. Room was very clean and have everything you need. Walls quiet thin so can hear people in the next room. Carpark space very limited. Would stay again absolutely fine for the price you are paying. Should be charging more.

Bathroom not in good condition (window cracked ....blind broken.....rust on grab rail....cleaning cloth riped off on shower tap and left in toilet) very noisy as only single glazed windows and next to main road. Outside unkept empty cans and boxes left around back seating area and full ashtrays on table....3 flights of stairs up to room...dog barking in room below

It was great to have an enamel bath with a strong power shower over it. Torre Railway station was a few minutes' walk away and I went to Teignmouth. The staff are helpful. Maintenance to the outside of the building is overdue as there is a faulty drainpipe that either needs a man with a ladder or some scaffolding or possibly an insurance claim as two building blocks are also showing. It isn't perfect but the price reflects this.

Dreadful, no sleep due to paper thin walls and inconsiderate guests slamming doors until all hours, then arguing until the early hours. Well worn, definitely would never go back. Absolutely horrendous stay, although only one night thank goodness.
