We were completely amazed by our stay in Galena ! Our hosts, Robert and Douglas were wonderful to visit with, experts at the Galena history, restaurants and activities in and around Galena. Our daily breakfasts were all made with fresh ingredients expertly prepared! Cocktail hour was just as exceptional. Our room was beautiful, impeccably clean, with a beautiful view of their many flower gardens. The house was well laid out with many options for relaxation. All of our fellow guests were wowed by their stay, we all voiced the exceptional service, beautiful breakfasts and witty conversation with our hosts. I will always remember what a warm and inviting visit we enjoyed with Robert and Douglas. Thank you so much!

This was our first time staying at Aldrich Guest House, but we will definitely be back. Our hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! A short walk to the shops, the location was perfect. We really enjoyed our last minute getaway stay.

The owners were very nice, friendly, and accommodating. The rooms are all updated and clean. The food was excellent as was the complimentary afternoon cocktail hour. Very walkable and close to downtown. Highly recommend.

The innkeepers had luxury hotel experience from Chicago and it showed. Place was beautiful, perfectly maintained. Service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious. They think of everything. There are even things to purchase, like bottles of wine, even though it's a B & B.

Afternoon appetizers and drinks were held on the patio with an excellent opportunity to socialize with other guests. Highlight of the trip was the stay at the Aldrich Guest House. Our next trip to Galena will definitely include staying at the Aldrich Guest House.

We enjoyed the evening cocktails and the breakfast was very good. We also appreciated the little things they provided like reusable water bottles, chocolate chip cookies that were available during the day and even a departing gift and thank you card. They certainly thought about a lot of details that other B&B's do not.

This historical property has been beautifully refurbished and now lovingly maintained by Robert and Douglas. What you see is what you get in the pictures including luxurious sheets.
