This was one night stay so that we were close to the airport. Everything was great!

Great place, good price. Close enough to airport, $10 Uber ride. A street on side of property creates a bit of truck noise for upper rooms. Pool looked sweet and the breakfast was good. Best part was staff, good job management!

For our last night in Costa Rica this did the trick. We would not stay anymore than one night a there is NO TV, It's an older property and it showed, there was hot water when I took a shower, but when my husband went in, it was cold. It's noisy being next to the main the road. There is nothing really to do around it and no ice available. There were HUGE spiders everywhere outside. However, the people were very nice and I felt very safe with the guard there all the time. We didn't really eat dinner or breakfast as we wanted something different, but the menu was fair and so was the price for the room. My husband did not mind saving $100 for the night by Not going to a big name hotel and staying there.

This place is amazing! Spacious rooms. Beautiful artwork. Ample towels accompanied by lots of towel hooks. Two balconies. Large pool. Pool tables. Chess boards strategically placed around various sitting rooms. Hot shower. Popcorn at dinner. Free breakfast.
My only complaint was the server rushing us out the door last night a full 30 minutes before close.

The environment is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The staff are extremely proficient and friendly. Thre are only a couple of things that need improving invluding adding a diverse menu with great portions. For example, being a tropical country the fruit salad would be one of the best dishes but it left alot to be desired. The second thing to improve would be the bathrooms..they flood while one is taking a shower and the entire space gets wet. Apart from this I would stay here again. Its a very beautifully designed, decorated and comfortable villa.

This place is beautiful! The property is very well maintained and the staff are very kind and helpful. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The only issue I had was the proximity of the rooms to the road which I know can’t be changed but the road noise definitely kept me awake at night.

Our first visit to Costa Rica and this was a perfect starter Hotel. The grounds were beautiful and the dining/pool area amazing! The staff was on point and very hospitable. The hotel is only 20-30 minutes away with traffic. The only and it wasn’t awful at all, was the location. It was located in the city, which wasn’t the most picturesque views/

My family and I had the best experience at Villa San Ignacio this past week. We were a large group and everyone there was so incredibly helpful and kind. The service was really outstanding in every way. The grounds are also beautiful making the overall atmosphere so relaxing. I love the style of the restaurant as well. The rooms were super clean too! I really hope to be able to go back one day when I’m passing through the San Jose area 😊

Charming little gem in the middle of the city. Clean and bright rooms with beautiful gardens. Surrounding neighborhood area is a bit rough so walking isnt advisable. Great breakfast included. The only thing I would suggest the owners add are extra door locks for security once inside the room. These only have small pin locks on the door handles.

The staff at the restaurant’s hotel is great - warm and ready to serve you after a long flight or a long car ride. The gate security knocked on our door to let us know the light in our car was left on. Very highly recommended.

We came in very late from the airport and they were able to get us in late (after midnight). Great breakfast the next day. Overall the room was more spacious than we expected and was such a great value as the price included breakfast for all 6 of us. Great entry into Costa Rica for us. The security the night before and the restaurant staff were top notch!!

It was near the airport and after a late flight it was nice to get to the hotel and be able to have a bite to eat on the restaurant before calling it a night. Breakfast set us up for our next trip to La Fortuna. Very friendly staff.

Wonderful about our late check in. They organized our transportation from the airport and had a great late night meal ready when we arrived. The room is huge. So spacious and beautiful!
