The place is great. However, be aware that parking is very difficult and can get a bit pricey and a ways away from the hotel. Also it’s a 4th floor walk-up in case you’re physically challenged.

Pros: great location. Affordable, small but nice room w en-suite great recommendations on restaurants and activities. Shower had great pressure and was nice Cons: this is partially my fault and Mother Nature as it was 90+ degrees F and I figured it wouldn’t be an issue in a 200 year old building. I’d love to stay there again in any season but summer, but you can’t stay here in august as there’s no air. You are provided with an 8 inch fan. I had a dilemma as my room faced the river(a great view was another pro) but if I closed the windows it would be unbearable and if I left them open-which I had to-I’d be swarmed with bugs-which I was. I ended up putting the fan next to me and slept on top of the covers with the bugs. They landed on me all night as there’s a lamp light directly to the right of my window when you look out. The sheets weren’t changed in 4 days I was there but I didn’t go to the front desk to complain as I was on tours each day and it didn’t open until 10 and was closed by the time I got back. It was one of the most uncomfortable stays I’ve had in Europe yet I want to make clear that I’d stay there in cooler weather. Maybe the listing should make it clear that due to no air it’s a hard stay so be prepared.

We enjoyed staying here. It was close to everywhere we wanted to go in the city. Staff was friendly. The only drawback was no air conditioning, but we knew this when we booked. We did open a window for a bit, but it was too nosey to leave open. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Really good apart-hotel. Rooms are spacious with good bathrooms. Clean and comfortable. Staff were all lovely... always helpful and offered good advice for Ljubljana and travel. Recommended!

Great location for all of the sights and sounds of Ljubljana. Staff are really helpful. On the third floor with only steps to reach it, but everything is clean and comfortable. Recommended

This was a very comfortable room in a historic building. Very quiet and peaceful, but close to restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hope to stay here again some day!

We really liked the hotel, but the shower leaked water all over the floor; there was no way to keep water from flooding the bathroom. Also, people should know that the hotel is up three or four flights of steps.

I would absolutely recommend staying here if you want a very walkable area, clean room, super comfy bed & I got lucky with a great view of the river. Amazing stay!
