Great stay, with excellent view! Picked this hotel to be walking distance from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Although it rained, we had a great time. The hotel gave us a free breakfast and a couple of free drinks. Breakfast buffet was great, and so was the bar service, but drinks were ridiculously expensive. Almost $50 for 2 simple drinks. I guess that’s how it iis everywhere in NYC.

All the staff was outstanding. Hotel in a great location.

When we checked in, we stood in a short line. We were not only able to get into our room early but we were given 2 extra vouchers for a glass of wine due to our “long” wait. The person that checked us in as well as the bar tenderer were very polite and helpful.

This hotel location was amazing. Central but not noisy! The rooms were spacious and clean. Thomas at check-in was so nice. Remember to look at destination fee so you won't get surprises at checkout! Overall such a comfortable place to stay in the heart of New York!

Good location with several metro entries and a CVS and many restaurants  nearby; clean but not crowded pedestrian walk in front of the hotel gate to easily get on and off the car with luggages.  Room size is okay while still bit compact to unload the big suitcase with other small ones. Amenities are okay/basic generally within our expectations. Room is quiet for us thus we had good sleep/rest. Like the breakfast offered from the destination fee, although not too many choices but basically sufficient to me with good services. staff and cleaning ladies are good. Free to depose luggages of course tips are what it takes.   I wrote to prefer a high-floor room but ended getting a low one and the staff told me he could not change what’s in the system. Don’t quite understand…well that’s what it was.

They offer u a free breakfast or drink tickets when u check in at the Westin in Grand Central New York. That was awesome. And I love the free water bottles too. I don’t like the automatic 20% that is added to ur bill for food. Especially when u order a breakfast buffet where u serve yourself. I would definitely stay at a Westin again.

Clean, comfortable, shower was awesome, food great, but noise was terrible, windows and walls were not sound proof and y could hear nearly everything outside but i guess thats NY too

I recently stayed at Westin, and unfortunately, it was a bottom-tier experience. From the moment I checked in, I noticed the room was dusty, which triggered my asthma and forced me to rely on my inhaler throughout my stay. I also contacted the front desk for a blanket or comforter, but I never received one. This left my family and me very uncomfortable during our stay. Despite bringing my concerns to the front desk, the staff was unresponsive and seemed indifferent to my needs. Literally no one was helpful. Basic essentials were lacking in the room, which only added to the overall discomfort. As a poor attempt to rectify the situation, management offered a destination fee credit at checkout, well now the trip is over! but this hardly compensated for the issues we faced. I left feeling dissatisfied and would not recommend this hotel to others especially if you would like a blanket. I received an apology email following my poor review. Never again.

We enjoyed the stay. Reasonably priced for NYC. Clean and comfortable. If you need something from your car after it is parked, please ask the concierge desk, not the front desk. Lady at the front desk told me to walk down the long ally and find someone out back and it was dark. Wonderful concierge gentleman saw that I needed assistance, offered and went and got the charger from my car. That was well worth the tip. I will book my next stay there.

Check in was fantastic and so friendly! The hotel is beautiful and close to everything. The only thing that was negative is one of the shower heads (there are two) was absolutely disgusting and covered in green mold. Gag worthy. We just didn’t use it and just ignored it 😅
