EVERYONE IS CORRECT IN GIVING THIS INN 1-STAR OR NO-STAR AT ALL! THE BUILDING ITSELF IS A RUN-DOWN, THE STAIRS & HANDRAILS ARE DIRTY & STICKY & SLIDY! THE SHOWERS HAVE NO WATER PRESSURE. PREVIOUS OCCUPANT STOLE TV CABLE BOX FROM MY ROOM, HAVE TO BORROW FROM OTHER ROOM. WORST OF ALL, FRONT-DESK DID NOT ATTEND TO MY TV-ISSUE! THAT BOY & ARROGANT WOMAN AT THE FRONT-DESK SAID "I DO NOT DESERVE SERVICE BECAUSE I CHANGED MY ROOM AND I'M ONLY STAYING 2-NIGHTS! THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF HOTELS.COM LISTINGS, THEY SHOULD HEED THOSE POOR/WORST REVIEWS!! CHEERS.

The friendly staff is managed by the English-speaking morning desk attendant, who thoughtfully put this "old guy" into a ground floor room. He also obtained a cab to the airport for me at the end of my stay. I've stayed here twice, so I can attest the rooms are clean and everything in them (TV, toilet & sink spigots, overhead fan, AC/de-humidifier/ventilator & hot water shower) work just fine.
You'll not likely have a window, but the location is a mere 10 minute walk from a major beach plus the old town's Mercado (a major market with inexpensive upstairs restaurants). Nothing fancy here, but easily affordable.

It was very affordable, you get what you pay for, I was able to get a good night sleep, I had everything I needed, comfy bed, toilet, hot water, ac, working tv, close to the Malecon, convenient location, friendly staff.

The only thing good I can say for this property is that the staff was nice. This hotel is old and run down. Beds are terrible. Room dirty. Shower curtain was stuck together with mold and torn to shreds. You can see outside around the air conditioner. Like stick your hand through. I could say much more, but I will just finish with “don’t waste your money or time. Find a different hotel.

It was definitely a dump hotel. The curtains were a ruffled bedspread, the bedspread was nutty, the mattresses were shot coil. The ceiling fan was filthy to the point of dripping. That said, the shower was super hot with good pressure, the hosts were perfectly fine. There was some confusion about our reservation through Expedia but they worked it through with patience, and even allowed us to park in their small parking garage. And, they warmly welcomed our big dog. The room was perfectly clean, the location was convenient, we felt totally safe. For an inexpensive overnight stay in Mazatlan, it was good enough.

Dirty sheets, bad wi-fi connection and horrible towels. Make sure you bring your own if you stay in this hotel.

Didn’t like the big cockroaches. When I brought it to their attention, all they were willing to do was spray a little bit of bug spray where I found the cockroaches.
Electricity went off a couple of times.
Room had holes in the walls.
The building is just worn all the way out.

This hotel has a bad reputation among locals. My toilet was missing a seat and the shower head was terrible. Overall I am not confident in the cleaning of the room before I entered. Wifi doesn't work.
All rooms have good AC. Beds seemed ok. Staff is friendly and helpful as they arranged a taxi for me to take me to the airport at 4am.

If you want the true Mexican experience, (not talking about a tourist hotel) then I would recommend The Hotel Morales. The staff is super friendly and the hotel is clean. But you are not going to get the luxuries of the high dollar tourist hotels. No swimming pool, no exercise room, etc.. What you will get is a hotel in the middle of a wonderful part of Mazatlán, with the best authentic restaurants and shopping around. Loved the area and the people there!

Please don’t fall for the pictures! The place was the lowest life style ever. The walls were paper thin, I could see outside the walls, the AC was taped together, the ceiling fan was so loud, Wi-Fi didn’t work, the towels were Grosse , there was no toilet seat on the toilet and I wouldn’t pay a dime to stay there. Maybe they should have paid us for being part of their torture scene.

There was some refurbishing going on so the lobby was full of dust and the room was really small. I could've pay a lower price since on the door they advertised the price for the rooms at $300.00 pesos/night.
