Great family hotel in a great town. We stayed just a few hundred meters from the town center with nice cafés and fairly cheap restaurants.

Excellent place to stay at a very reasonable price.I would recommend it to anybody.There are plenty of things to do in the area and it is only 5 minutes walk from the train/bus station.The staff are super friendly.

The hotel rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The towels were not changed every day - and I approve of this. I don't change the towels daily at home. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. The buffet breakfast was either served in the bar or in a separate breakfast room depending on the number of guests. There was plenty of choice either way and the fresh bread and rolls were delicious. We ate twice at the hotel for our evening meal - on our first and last evenings. On both occasions the food was delicious. Our rooms were on the second floor. There was a coffee/tea stand on the first floor landing for all rooms to help themselves at any time. Personally I like a cup of coffee first thing in the morning before I get dressed, leave the room, etc. and so I would have preferred tea/coffee facilities in the rooms themselves. This is not a criticism, merely a personal preference.

We booked the hotels to be near to Heide Park. The hotel is OK but a bit expensive, taking the location in consideration.
If not for Heide Park the city offers you nothing.
