The hotel is in the back of the old town, but u can walk 5mins to the old town where the places to see in salzburg. The rooms are big with balcony but they don't have. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and lotion which I forgot to bring due to the size when u don't check on luggage.

Great room with the large terrace. Friendly receptionist. Very close to the old city. Parking is bit troublesome, but manageable.

Closest and cheapest we could find yet was severely lacking. Right on a busy street which is so loud at night, yet there is no air conditioning so you have to have your windows open to have any air flow. The rooms look like a motel 6. Would recommend just paying more for a hotel that actually has ac and better rooms.

The room was absolutely disgusting, the carpet was heavily stained all over with only god knows what. The furniture was falling apart, when I opened the door of the wardrobe it fell off in my had and I narrowly avoided injury. The safe didnt work, the toilet was continually running the whole experience was depressing I can't believe Hotels.com would even consider promoting such a poor establishment. The only saving grace was it's location and friendly staff. Please avoid this place salzburg has so many better hotels to offer.

We liked the closeness to downtown. We did NOT like the stained carpets, dirty walls of our room, dusty sink, semi-plugged shower drain, broken/taped mirror door of our closet, and overall dirty appearance of the older section of Neutor Hotel in Salzburg.

Room is clean. Old bed, it hurts my back, one pillow each person. Needed to add pillows.No room control for temp. We ask if we could adjust the radiator , we were told not to touch it. The next hotel we went , we were given info on adjusting radiator. Although thru the night I did not get cold. The bathtub was helpful for my husband. Kudos for the bathtub.

Bus from train station stops right outside the hotel but is was an easy walk to the main sights both in the old town and across the river. Spacious room, good shower, heating which could be adjusted. The only thing which would have made it better for us would be a kettle/cups in the room to make a hot drink!

Staff was nice. Rooms are dated with very little amenities. No coffee service and no refrigerator. Location is great. Good for low budget facility

I can have no major faults with this hotel. It's actually two buildings, with one across the road from the other. The plus is the hotel is right in the bus route to the main train station and the bus goes through the old town.

There is no tea and Coffee facilities. Water pressure in bathroom was not good. Carpet should be renewed.
