Was very gritty. My room door had a gap where lots of crickets and noise came through. The “house keeper” would invite himself in with out any permissions and was very intrusive. The atmosphere around this place was sketchy in its self. The sheets were stained the floors and bathroom were dirty upon entering. The room reeked of stale cigarettes, also my sheets and bedding had burn holes in it. Honestly don’t waste your money here trying to save money, do yourself a favor and do not stay here. If I could rate it 0 stars I would.

They should not be open. Room was so muggy and moldy. Shower had mold. Mold in the air conditioner like you will die if you stay too long smh. Roaches. First night room was still dirty. A chip under dresser clearly they don’t clean. Floor was so sticky a dirty. Housekeeping wasn’t in there but 5 minutes I was waiting on my ride. Literally fixed the bed straightened up and that’s it. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

As a female traveler, this location felt particularly unsafe. The parking facilities are very cramped. There are multiple people hanging around the property, I'm assuming it's the same people who live in the motel. It seemed like it was low income housing instead of a motel. Room was in poor condition. When I looked at the pillows on the bed they had old blood spots on them, the kind you find on a pillow when someone has picked visits on their face and allowed them to bleed. Two pillows had these stains. When I pulled back the sheets I found that there were yellow stains as if someone had sweated, and several short black hairs. As soon as I saw the blood stains on the pillow I decided this is not the place for me. So I went to the front desk and asked for a refund. They told me it was not possible since I had used Expedia for the purchase it would have to come directly from expedia. As soon as I could I got out of there and went to the Best Western up the road. I would like to begin a process of returning that money to me, please.

Upon arriving for check in, there wasn’t anyone in thr lobby. I had to call motel 6 to get someone there. It took 20 minutes. In the room, the bed and linen was stained, the bathroom floor dirty and towels were all stained. Hotel room had a weed smell in it . Would not recommend

After a long long drive we opted to stay in Temple, Texas. We booked our room about an hour before we stopped via Hotels.com. to clarify it was done with zero research of reviews. Turning 1:00 am and sleepy we checked in and made our way to the room. We were greeted by a mass amount of ROACHES as we opened the door and turned on a light. As they scattered we put our luggage back in the Car. It was soon discovered that the beds were hairy like someone had a fresh hair cut in both beds and let their dogs shed all over the pillow cases. The phone table was covered in some sort of liquid that I could only hope was roach spray bomb juice. The Hand Sink was filthy and not been wiped down. The bathroom door would not close. It was coming apart and the door would not move unless picked up. The electricity kept throwing at the ground fault interrupter. The only good thing was the AC got cold.

Staff was rude, front desk told my husband that he was assaulting her while he was on the phone with me because he was wanting a refund
