This location was very convenient to the airport, only a 10 to 15 minute drive through Chennai traffic. I think that this was one of the biggest positives for this hotel. Our check-in experience was pretty smooth. Cleanliness was rated a 4 mainly because we had found some items from previous guests in our room as soon as we entered. However, this was immediately addressed by the staff at the hotel and they were accommodating and friendly. The hotel has a connected restaurant on the bottom floor, Golcondas Chef which has a variety of North and South Indian food dishes. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food. They also serve breakfast in the morning (included in the hotel stay). The breakfast itself was amazing - idly, poori masala, vada, gulab jamun, chutney, sambar and a drink. Items were brought hot and fresh from the kitchen. Overall, I would recommend this place and may return again in the future.

The place is still pretty new and some part of it feel as if they have been recently completed (e.g. plastic cover on bathroom fittings) 2. Not all the kinks have been worked out (there seems to be some problem with the back-up power reaching all rooms). 3. Pest control needs to be ramped up. Recommendation: For travelers on a budget and just need a bed to crash.
