This is a great place to stay, right next to the beach and the harbour.The welcome is warm, a great hostess, the bed very comfortable and the bedlinen pristine. The continental breakfast is the best ever. Easy walking distance to the train station. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

As a single traveller I had a single room overlooking the beach which, surprisingly, was not on the top floor.
It was small, but so am I, so I found it quite adequate for my needs. Everything was clean and tidy. The bed has to be amongst the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. I slept like a top. Shared toilet and shower, which overlooked the harbour, but did not see any sign of anyone else using, The shower was good and extremely easy to use but I only had it set on a low setting, for a nice refreshing wash down.
I was impressed with the TV, with loads of choice of programmes and with tennis on I was able to enjoy watching a picture better than on my old set at home.

I have just spent a wonderful four nights stay at the Weymouth Sands and although I had a small single room situated towards the top of the house ( my choice) I had a lovely view of Weymouth Bay and the bed was so comfortable.
Nicola not only produces the perfect breakfast but she is also the perfect host - affable, funny ( in the best sense of the word) and a mine of information - particularly in advising which restaurants to try.
I would definitely recommend the Weymouth Sands and I intend to stay there again when I return to Weymouth.
