Great value for money. However please bear in mind that it’s no place for someone used to 5star hotels. There is no network coverage (thus also no WiFi). When there is no sun there is no electricity and no hot water (solar panels not working). There is a lot of peace however, lot of space to wander and a lot of time to chill and rest with no distractions :) Food is great, breakfast is enough, dinner is also great, tea is perfect, everyone is very nice. It is pretty mandatory to book a day trip (case for every camp in the desert). But at 50 jod per person the full day trip is a great value. Astonishing views, lunch, fire, tea, jeeps, sandboaring etc etc. To sum it up - book two days and a daily safari trip at the fire camp and you will not regret! Totally recommended.

Great place, great people (I mean all staff and especially owner), they are all super kind. Unbelievable price, great food, good service and view to desert and night sky. I fully recommend this, also, jeep tour into desert was unforgettable and all thanks to our guide, who was best - no rush, he explained us everything, let us see what we can, tried to give us best experience from all desert highlights and local points. Dinning room is like something for king or president :D . You can park your car at parking lot in Wadi Rum village and then, guys from Camp ride you to camp place. Please, go there, it was great experience and you don't need those fancy tents for triple cost.

Magical spot with great staff and cozy atmosphere around the fire at night. Fun Jeep tour and hours of star gazing. If any side adventures come up, just say yes.
I was a little surprised by not having locks on the doors but I left my windows open anyway so it wouldn’t have mattered!

Everything was as expected and the staff were so kind and helpful, the atmosphere was fantastic! I totally recommend it.

Awesome personel. Great patience, Ibrahim organized for us 4-hour desert jeep trip made by Omar as driver. We could seen almost everything interestin in Wadi Rum. Omar also showed us beautiful sunset on desert, with fantastic tea from the fire. And the top of the tops: dinner in the camp - we felt as sheikh from Alibaba stories. After this - unforgetable stars on desert.
I loved!
Everything was superb but as you can imagine - it is impossible for 10 dollars.

Great camp with great staff in a great location. Wadi Rum is so stunning and peaceful you need to come for at least 2 nights during your stay in Jordan it's fantastic and I would recommend it over going to Aaqaba. Food at the camp was great and the tour was awesome too.
Highly recommend.
The bathroom and shower weren't the absolute cleanest and not in full working condition but also you are out in the middle of the desert so you have to take that into consideration. At the end of the day I was able to find a working shower, take a good shower with hot water and used the sink and bathrooms when I needed to so I was satisfied.

Staying in the Fire Camp was a great experience! Before my arriving, there was a clear communication from all the Parties regarding the costs, duration, contents of the activities in the Camp (with the proposal of a price particularly convenient): once I arrived, I discovered that this would be accompanied by the genuine hospitality and courtesy of all the staff, who was respectful, kind, helpful (and inclined to make friends with all the guests of the Camp: there were several shared moments and laughter). In addition, the meals were very good, the Camp is tidy, beautiful and clean and the location, in the middle of the desert, is enviable. For Juzif: No Hurry, No Worry, No chicken, No curry!
nothing!

We loved our time at Wadi Rum Fire Camp. We were met at the rest stop by the owner's little brother, whose name I'm forgotten. He was lovely. He took us to a meeting place where we met and had tea with our host. The brother then took us on a three hour jeep tour of the desert, which was fantastic. We were kind of pushed a little to do a longer trip, but the sky was heavy with the threat of rain, so we stuck to our guns and did the 3 hour tour. It really was great. We were then taken to our camp and shown our tent. It was a really decent size with two regular single beds in it. It was also raised off the ground, which proved to be a very good thing when the torrential rain (first rain in two years, apparently) hit us in the middle of the night. We arrived at the camp at lunch time, but there was no food offered. Fortunately we had snacks. The bathrooms were shared with the other tents, but they were new, clean and spacious. The view from the camp was amazing, and you really had the chance to feel at one with nature.
Dinner wasn't served until after dark, and we were starving by then. It was served in a large communal tent, and we ate with the other campers and our hosts. The meal was really, really incredible. They apologised that they couldn't give us a traditional meal cooked in the ground, but the rain wouldn't allow them. It didn't matter in the least to us - the food was so good. They also gave us all the water and tea we could drink. After dinner there was dancing. Our hosts got everyone up and taught us a few dances - I swear my hands are still tingling from all the clapping. Such great fun.
In the morning we were served with another excellent meal before a jeep ride back to the village. We asked if we could leave a little earlier because our driver was waiting for us (something I had pre-arranged), but they weren't keen to.
Not the greatest communication leading up to our stay. All turned out great in the end though.

People that have welcomed us were truly amazing. The dinner all together cooked traditionally was great value for money. Followed by a little evening in a wonderful atmosphere of party and sharing.
We recommend the jeep tour of 3h just for sunset time.
We had to leave the camp early in the morning without being warned in advance enough.

did not mention that a transportation fee of 15 jod per person is mandatory. so the price for one night was 35 instead of the 5 jod that was showed on booking. A more transparent price would be better
4.6
The price indicated was around 5 JOD on Booking.com. Then, at time of paying, the owner asked for 20 JOD and he said that 15 JOD is for the transfer in car from the Wadi Rum village to the camp. It should be made clear in the camp Booking page that 15 JOD would be added on top.

amazing location, might be the furthest camp down the valley so you get as little traffic from other camps as possible. the staff was amazing, very helpful with communication prior and during the trip and they were all so fun and engaging and had the necessary language skills for whatever you needed
the tents/lodging didn’t really look like what is on booking, there’s no tents with private bathrooms, the bathrooms were clean but the showers were tough to get working one night, and while I didn’t ask because I brought my own, there were no towels provided

Amazing experience!
From far the most memorable experience we have ever done. After a few days in Jordan, we wanted to spend a day and a night in Wadi Rum, and the Fire Camp was definitely the most lovely way to end the trip! The food is great, the tour is super complete and definitely worth paying for (we paid for a half day which in our opinion was perfect). And of course the people are the highlight of this experience, our amazing guide Youssef is only 18 and yet full of laughter, kindness and he will bring you to the best sunset spot! Thanks again to all the team, we will forever remember the memories we made!

I booked the full day jeep tour which included everything I needed (driver from&to camp, full day keep tour, lunch+dinner+breakfast, overnight accommodation). Besides my booking, there was included extras: great guides, amazing people in my group, lots of fun, sunset stop, made friends from all over the world, felt like a family reunion, things that value more that money. Had million questions, got million answers. Wonderful experience, I am so grateful ❤️ thank you guys for EVERYTHING and wish you good luck 🍀

kind staff, comfortable beds, really cool trip, the tourguide wss the best (we really recommend booking a tour, even if you are a student lol), good food & vibe in general in the camp. basically the best toilets we saw in the whole Jordan:)

It was in the inner part of the desert, there was no service so you could enjoy every moment without technology. The people were very nice and the food was delicious. We also booked a half day jeep tour, where the driver cooked great lunch in the middle of desert.
It got quite cold during the night. Our tent had some electricity issues and it destroyed one of our chargers and the electricity shocked my friend.
