Overrated ratings .Maybe 7 would be more accurate.Terrible balcony. Unsafe, uneven floors.all of us tripped a few times.

Unit 19 was a beachfront facing apartment which provided some very beautiful views especially during sunset. Apartment was also well-stocked for cutletries and cooking equipment as well as being very clean. Service provided was also exceptional.

Not much, just that the location is not as close to the main area of surfers paradise as previously thought.

The apartment was very spacious and well presented, and the view of the ocean was wonderful. It was well located just over the road from the beach and walkway with lots of restaurants and cafes within easy walk. The surf club over the road did a great evening meal.

The apartment is very dated, but it wasn't as issue as it had such a lovely feel to it.

I loved the penthouse plenty of room for whole family to enjoy the patio was enormous loved it that much had to come back and stay longer this time looking forward to sitting on the balcony and looking over the ocean and watching the stars.

Nothing I loved everything about Surfers Chalet the managers were very attentive and helpful.

Location was great. View was wonderful. Hosts very friendly, welcoming and kind. We loved the beach and sitting on our balcony. We were walking distance to all the restaurants.

The apartment was dirty. Especially the bathroom. I would go so far as to say that the bathroom was not even cleaned at all. My husband cleaned the loo for us. The shower had purple shampoo splattered on the walls. The towels were old and very stained. The kitchen dishes looked a little grubby, so I rinsed everything before we used it. The toaster was covered in manky bread crumbs. The edges and corners of the apartment needed a good clean. We should have complained but didn't, as our hosts were very lovely.

The location was incredible with amazing views, and the hosts were absolutely brilliant. The apartment was roomy, comfortable the entire family loved their time here.

The microwave in the kitchen and the oven were dirty and needed a clean so we didn't use it. All of the other facilities were great though and as our first self-catering holiday in Queensland, it was brilliant.

We had self-catered accommodation so meals not provided, however, 20% meal discount and a free coffee was offered for the Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club across the road. Beds were comfortable. Our unit is nicely maintained. Location is great; short walks to beach and transport. Carolyn and Graham are super friendly.

We liked it all.

Loved the friendliness of the owners, the size of the apartment and the handy location to the public transport.
