Our family of 20 ranging in age from 7 - 61 had a fabulous time at Nadine's place. The accommodations were very comfortable, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved the large dining room that could seat our large group. We have rented many houses before and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything you could need. The pool and hot tub were a big hit with all ages. The view is unparalleled, just gorgeous. We rode bikes around the island ( though not for the children with many cars on the road), enjoyed the shops, wineries, bakeries, and the amazing strawberries and blueberries! The proximity to Quebec City, the falls, and beautiful national parks are a big plus as well, There were some aging house maintenance issues, though Nadine was very responsive and was able to address what she could right away. This did not take away from our enjoyment of the house and we would recommend it highly to other groups.

Our family reunion of 14 people enjoyed the space, view, and location. The house could use an update (appliances, plumbing, carpet, paint) but overall met our needs. We were unimpressed with communication with the owner, cleanliness of a few specific areas, and value for the high cost. I would recommend this house for a much larger group with lower standards.

So much space, clean, fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous views from pool, hot tub & living room. Great hub for family reunion to visit Quebec City & Ile d’Orleans.

In spite of unsettled weather most of the week we had a wonderful time. All appreciated the pool and hot tub plus spacious living and bed rooms. The little ones enjoyed watching the ships go up and down the St Lawrence. Great kitchen, fully equipped! Quiet and secluded; Wonderful facility for a large group! We would highly recommend this house for a large group!

We were at this property for 1 week with our children and grandchildren,. We had a wonderful time, both on the island and in Old Quebec City. Most shops and wineries etc on the island were still closed for the season, but we managed to find some gems that were open. Nadine was a gracious and friendly host. Communication went well all along, exception with checkin time when we were unable to make contact. We had an average of 25 people there each day. That was about perfect for the dining room. It was a little tight for lounging and relaxing areas indoors, especially on rainy and cold days. Sleeping arrangements were excellent for our group. . Everyone appreciated the bathroom in each bedroom. The view out of the big window was constantly changing with the tides. We could watch the large boats and the kite surfers on the river from the large window. The hot tub was a hit too. Nadine found an excellent chef for us for the week. We made use of the local tennis court for pickle ball. Many of us went for early morning runs and/or walks in the evenings in the neighbourhood. Thank you Nadine, for a wonderful place to celebrate with our family!

A wonderful place to make memories with family and friends - beautiful location along the River, amazing kids room and space for everyone to enjoy.

Beautiful and spacious house with an even more incredible setting

We stayed in Nadine's villa for our March break ski trip, We skied at Le Massif and Mont St Anne, the drive to the hills were 1 hr(le massif) and 45 min(st Anne), not boring drive at all. Nadine's Villa was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the beautiful river view from living room. The kids loved the bunk bed setup in the basement, definitely highlight for them, for the years to come they will not remember our ski but the basement. Nadine was prompt to answer any questions we had, thank you Nadine for making sure our stay was pleasant. Our group is already talking about visit again in summer time.

The cottage is perfect , and Nadine is such a great host . Will definitely recommend.

We were so amazed with the view and amenities of the property. Nadine was super helpful in answering our questions and went out of her way to follow up and ask how everything was going. A great house and a great owner. Nadine was really reactive and proactive to attend any of our needs. This was a great extended week-end we spent with the kids and made great memories. Definitely a house we enjoyed to the fullest and will surely come back to.

We had a nice stay at the house but it was far too big for just 6 of us. The pool and hot tub were heated, which is great if you want to use them but suggest you ask so that energy is not wasted. Kitchen reasonably well stocked. A fire pit by the river would be a great addition.

This place was all we could wish for for a family of eight teenagers and eight adults. Very comfortable beds, with lots of choice. Kitchen is well equipped. Arranged through Nadine, Buffet Maison catered a couple of very tasty meals to ease the cooking load. We also ate out a couple of times as well at good restaurants on the island. Nadine was very responsive to our emails and requirements. One comment: The people who sleep in the large bunkroom (12 spaces) downstairs have to climb the central spiral stair to access a bathroom on the main floor. We understand that a bathroom will be built downstairs this winter.The Hot tub, Pool and water toys were in constant use when we were not exploring the island or further afield. The gardens at the front and around the pool area are a little 'au naturel', but the firepit and shelter make a lovely place to relax and stare out at the St Lawrence River. The view from the house is constantly interesting as the ships and sail boats ply by and the tide rises and falls. Its a nice walk along the rocky shore line. Bike riding is easy and pleasant around the island, with many routes that can be explored. We had a riotous family baseball game across in the local field. We visited the small villages and enjoyed superb icecream at both ends of the island. August is the peak of the strawberry season and they were superb, straight from the farm stands. Blackcurrants are a local specialty and the cassis sorbets and liqueurs are delicious. Had a perfect visit one evening to a 'cidrerie' to taste a flight of ciders, while overlooking the North Shore.It's easy to drive across the beautiful bridge to supermarkets, into Q. City and to Montmorency Falls. The rappelling, zip lining, and rock climbing in the Ste Anne Canyon was thrilling for the teenagers, while the rest of us hide our eyes and enjoyed the trails in this beautiful place.All in all a good week! This is a wonderful house with plenty of room to spread out, great views of the St.Lawrence RIver, very peaceful quiet location, and just a short drive outside of Quebec City, perfect for large group or family reunion. Nadine was a great off-site host who answered all our questions in a timely fashion and was quick to offer advice or guidance prior to our arrival. 5 star rating is well deserved!

We rented the property for the family getaway. The property has beautiful view. All beds were made. The house was impeccably clean. Kitchen well equipped. Upon our arrival the owner treated us to catered lunch. It was very thoughtful. Whatever small issues arose the owner dealt with them swiftly. We had 5 small kids with us so it was a bit stressful with the stairs, pool and the river but we managed. The basement kids room was a huge hit. They either wanted to be in the pool or in the basement.

A group of 4 families totaling 19 had a delightful stay for a week. The pool, hot tub,and views of the river were great. Loved the large seating area so entire group could dine together. Nadine responded quickly to our questions and was a pleasure to wok with. The house was very well stocked - bath towels, soaps, shampoos, blankets for cool nights outside.

Our family of 19 adults and children had a wonderful week at this home. The set-up was perfect for our group. The pool was a big favorite for the kids and the adults loved the activities in the area, like zip lining, golfing and white water rafting! Nadine was awesome and very responsive. The house had all the supplies we needed. We would not hesitate to return to this house again someday.

Nadine was very helpful and the house was lovely, and close to everything we wanted to do (Old Town, museums and the Aquarium, Parc Chute du Montmorency, the St Anne Basilica, and the fabulous agritourism and shops on the Island). We may need to come back with my husband’s side of the family. Thanks again!

This property is simply phenomenal -- I stayed twice both as part of a family event as well as part of a corporate event that I hosted. It accommodated 15 people without a problem, with room to spare, and has some of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Everything is nicely isolated, heated, etc., The views are amazing, the kitchen is spacious, there's a great game room, music room, TVs everywhere, and more. The biggest hot tub I have seen in my life that can fit 15 people without a problem, a BBQ (in summer), access to the lake, and enough individual bedrooms with their own private exits to make it easy for any VIPs not to bother the entire party. Finally, more than anything, if you choose to use some of the host's services around meeting planning, banquets, food, this is where the value is incredible. The host and her team are simply the sweetest, most resourceful and willing to help team I have ever experienced, and nothing was spared to make sure our stay was incredible, from getting ear plugs for someone sharing a room with a loud snorer, to buying more beer the second we ran out. The food that the caterer created for us was utterly delicious, and we were basically fed 24/7 high quality Michelin restaurant food. I can't recommend this enough -- and, one little detail that most people overlook, the WiFi is great. Multiple people streaming, VPN'ing and presenting without any problems.

Our stay exceeded all of our expectations and the amount of kitchen items to use was fantastic The view is breath taking Very clean and impressive I have been in real estate for 11 yrs and most times photos are better online than in person but this hit the exact description....very impressive We also love the scented plug in in the mast suit Down stairs smells so amazing ....do you know what it is? And the way you decorated was so enjoyable and suttle/relaxing/welcoming along with the bottle of champagne left by the hostess for our group....: We totally recommend this wonderful property and look forward to going again during ski season BUT also may grab it a time when we can enjoy the outside more and hike tour old Quebec more and then come back and enjoy the pool. wow !!! this was the first word our kids say when we arrived. This was just the most beautiful property we ever rent for our family vacation, space and comfort for all the family, very nice swimming pool and enough garden space for the small kids. All in a fantastic environment of Iles D'orleans. Nadine was also very nice to call us and check all the time if we need something. We have one dream, to come back !!! if you ever dream of a family vacation close to the river in a splendid place just call Nadine

Ce fut un week end parfait. Nadine et son equipe ce sont chargés de tout. Nous n'avions qu'à profiter des lieux. très propre, bien situé, bien aménagé, bien équipé. Bord de l'eau accessible pour marcher.

We held our annual retreat at the Villa. We were 12 adults for 2 days and there was an abundance of space for everyone. When we worked in break out groups we took advantage of the many seating opportunities on the property, both inside and outside. In the evenings, after meetings, we had ample space to sit, relax and chat... The sauna, pool, fire pit and pool table were awesome bonus'. The sunset and sunrise views were outstanding. The kitchen allowed us every luxury to eat, drink and be merry. And, lunch by the water edge or cocktails under the stars were great for team bonding. The decor and attention to detail throughout the entire property were excellent. The only problem... Not sure the team will ever want to return to a hotel for future retreats! I have a feeling The Villa maybe become part of our annual schedule :)

The house provided our family reunion a comfortable and relaxing place to spend time together. We stayed at the house for 3 nights with no issues with space. When not exploring the surrounding areas, the house provided lots of amenities. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, adults enjoyed the jacuzzi, the kitchen was always busy, games were played in the dining room and even a few fun rounds of pool! To be able to spend time together with family members from across the US was priceless and this house provided the perfect setting! Thank you!

We stayed here in July 2018 for a family vacation of 20 people, ranging from age 6 to 80! We had 9 children, and the bunk bed bedroom was perfect for them - it had plenty of sleeping space and all kinds of games to play. Of course, they loved the pool! The house is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could want to cook with... and the location of the house on the island is fantastic. Nadine was very helpful and responded quickly to a concern we had about the AC. We loved our stay here!
