Maria’s house was a beautiful traditional Italian property. The terrace was large & comfortable with chairs, dining table and sofa. the view over the gardens and olive groves was stunning . Maria is a wonderful host, she met us and showed us where to park. she then welcomed us with home made bruschetta and a bottle of wine

The only thing you could improve would be to have an en-suite bedroom

Maria’s place is an excellent one to stay. Maria is a wonderful host. She welcomed us with bruschetta, a bottle of wine, grapes and snacks. Her house was very clean and special, she thought every little detail in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Her bed linen and towels smelled very nice. In the kitchen you can find every tool to cook any meal. The place has a fantastic terrace. The house has a character and historical texture and furniture. Lecchi is a very small characteristic town to stay. We had dinner in ristorante Malborghetto in town and the most delicious food that we had in Tuscany. Lecchi and Maria’s place is wonderful. If you travel with a car, do not think about staying at any other place in Chianti.

The house is very spacious and has lots of amenities. Marialuce is a wonderful host, she prepared italian wine, food and fruits for us as a welcoming gift.

The house is beautifully decorated, very spacious, with comfortable beds, all the amenities, a great view off the back terrace into the Chianti countryside. Maria Luce, our host, welcomed us with such warmth and generosity, greeting us with a bottle of wine and fresh-made bruschetta! The location is just a short walk down the village street to coffee and breakfast croissants, and close to Gaiole in Chianti, where we ate wonderful meals. (There’s another restaurant right in Lecchi, but we ran out of time.) The area has a long tradition of cycling, which we love, so we’ll be back! Many interesting places to visit—Brolio castle (and wines) are nearby. All in all, we feel lucky to have found Casa Selvolini and Maria Luce.
