It was in a lovely walking area with a park nearby. We enjoyed eating our take out meal at the dining room table one day. There are electric tea kettles that can be taken to the room to make tea or hot chocolate as well as a Keurig in the hallway. Our room was very quiet. Renee was very welcoming and informative about the area.

The house was a bit run down. The first step into the house has quite a dip in it. Everything in the public areas looked "tired" & oppressive.

OMG, the breakfast! Huge! Delicious, presentation on point. Such a quaint gem in the heart of a funkie part of town. Sheets were so soft. Felt like I had stepped back in time. Rene is an amazing host

You do have to drive or uber to get downtown

Host Renee welcomed us at the door, she provided helpful info on the nearby historical buildings, and the the travel direction for my next day trip to the US. She also provided us a free upgrade of the room (jacuzzi suite), even though I did not use the jacuzzi, still a welcoming gesture nonetheless.

conveniently located close to the expressway to travel east or west of the Centre of Windsor. Quiet neighborhood. Easy to access with convenient parking on the street. B&B very clean and quaint. Renee our hostess was so friendly and helpful. our room was so cozy and clean. beds very very comfortable. lots of towels and access to coffee any time day or night. fantastic breakfast. well worth the price

The owner was marvelous (and very sweet). Probably the cleanest and most homey place we've ever stayed in. If we ever return to Windsor, we'd definitely return to Ye Olde Walkerville!

Great location, easy booking, welcoming staff and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and worked.

Renee, our host, went beyond the cal of duty to accommodate our needs. She was also very friendly and always available if we had questions. She made the stay a very positive one. She prepared a to-go breakfast bag on our last day, such a nice touch! Bonus to know: we had a mini-fridge in our room, and a kettle was available just outside our room. There was also a Keurig machine with plenty of coffee to choose from.

We were lucky as other guests were rather quiet. The house is old and the floor creaks, particularly on the staircase. So, the quality of your stay will depend on other guests to a certain extent. But, otherwise, we slept like babies; the area is quiet.
