Definitely location. What’s not to like about ocean views and direct access to the beach? Also liked that the boardwalk was really close by.

The rooms/bathrooms need to be refreshed and upgraded since they are becoming run down. Lighting inside the rooms are somewhat dim. Breakfast was too congested. Perhaps there should be stations set up instead of having people hold up the entire line making waffles. Also, there should be more options for people who have special diets who can’t eat the free breakfast. For example, Hilton garden inn opens the restaurant for breakfast for an additional cost.

Beautiful view, clean when we got there, friendly staff.

They were supposed to clean our room every other day (we were there for 7 days) and only cleaned it once. I had to keep asking for supplies and towels.

Property is old outdated for a Hampton inn. The staff was ok housekeeping didn’t clean like they should have you had to request for everything towels etc. The breakfast could be better selection of food. The hotel was good because of the location everything else was not great .

I've always stayed at Hampton Inns, wherever I go, we love it! This Hampton was clean and nice, like always, but the maid service didn't come the whole 4 days we were there. We went to the service desk due to no toilet paper, we were out of trash bags and towels. We were told that they were low staffed and so no maid service! They didn't offer to disclose this when we made reservations or checked in, also they added $15 a day for parking on the bill after we checked out...they never told us there was a parking fee. I've never had that at any other Hampton. Beautiful place and the room was nice and clean when we arrived, but we were down to using Walmart bags as trash bags and boxes of tissues for toilet paper when we left, so be prepared!

Lack of house keeping and daily parking fee that we were not informed of.

The bathroom toilet had to be plunged twice. No manager was onsite to take care of it, so an employee at the front desk accommodated us with another room.

There was no restaurant to eat lunch.

The breakfast was ok, I think that the quality could have been a little bit better, and the breakfast room was small for the amount of guests getting food.

It's hard to get out of the garage parking and it is hard to find the North and South side for your room. Need better direction signs

Overall location is good.

Noisy neighbours. They were sleeping the whole day, and then they start smoking weeds and play loud rap music after 11pm. Stuff helped with this.

I liked the room and the indoor hot tub. Also the breakfast was really good and had a lot of different options to choose from!

That there was a little girl in the hot tub whose parent wasn’t watching them. She kept staring me in my face and wouldn’t let me turn the jets back on and her mother was nowhere around her watching her!

Location with great. Staff was great! Looking forward to the bar and restaurant that’s coming.

Renovating is great but a lot of areas are closed off. The AC was on 60 but the room was pretty warm.

They were doing construction and everything was closed and constant random men coming in and out and always in the elevators. Couldn't go in or out certain doors or areas and was completely confusing as to what areas were open. Also called ahead to make sure our room could get cleaned and be ready to go, when we arrived four hours later the guy at the front desk said it wasn't ready still and that he would call. Never called. Finally came back and it had been ready. The front desk people are weird and rude with no social skills. Also the room was never cleaned. Stayed for three days. Not a single extra towel or trash taken out. Wouldn't stay here again

Location location location.

No check-in instructions for check-in and no notice of or help from the hotel regarding the massive construction in the hotel at the time of our stay. Where do we park? What door works for entry? How about an email? Breakfast was OK. Coffee was bad for Hampton Inn. Pools were a mess. Said they would check the room for towels and trash mid stay but did only at the end of the last full day of 3 day stay. Check out was sadly impersonal. Not likely to return. We expect more from the Hampton Inn.

Disappointed with the amenities, all of the pool are not working even the indoor pool.

No matter what the season of the year is make sure that indoor amenities are in good perfect condition otherwise lower down the prices.

Cable tv was terrible. The tv would barely work.

Then location was great, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast options were plentiful.

I didn't like that the website didn't mention the hotel was under major expansion construction which severly impacted the use of the indoor pools/jacuzzis. This one of the main reasons I selected this hotel due to the indoor options considering the weather would be on the chilly side.

It was oceanfront

There was no phone in my room. There was a fire drill that night with no notification in my room. Others stated there was a flashing light in their room. I didn’t have a flashing light and no phone to call the front desk for anything. When we exited several of us ended up at the pool area and could not get out, so we had the enter the hotel again and go up to the lobby to exit. There was only 1 worker when I checked in and for the entire evening. I asked for more hot water to make tea and he stated he was the only one there and couldn’t leave the front desk. The breakfast was horrible and only a little bit of food was brought out at a time. I’ve stayed with Hampton Inn several times and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’d like my money back or some type of compensation.
