thermostat control difficult to operate

good, too bad restaurant wasn't open for breakfast, but it wasn't busy at all when we were there, I can understand why it's not opened.

Patio chairs weren't cleaned, bird poop on one of them. Never golfed there before, could be better directions to where the next holes are, a few times we had to guess. Signs would help.

Room,shower and bed was very good.

The property is beautiful, the view was lovely, the room was comfortable.

Decor is dated and the staff were not engaged. The room doesn't seem to have been planned very well. There is no mini-fridge. The coffee maker in its usual place doesn't even plug in so you have to carry it across the room to an outlet. The phone is just dangling in front of the TV. It was as if they were just thrown in as afterthoughts. It seems to be run by inexperienced youth. There was no one at the front desk anytime I went down, even at checkout time. Restaurant staff were not what you'd expect for a fine dining experience - sloppily dressed and scratching while taking our orders. I would have left immediately had there been other food options nearby.
