Our stay was delightful at Residence Touristique Chicoutimi. The value was outstanding compared to the local hotels. We stayed on the ground floor condo with 2 bedroom, 1 bath plus a sofa bed. The kitchen was large and very well equipped, with plenty of pots and pans, dish soap, plates and glassware, similar to a timeshare. There was a nice patio and small backyard that we really enjoyed

Location was great, key access was easy, extra towels were appreciated, along with the cleanliness and well maintained house. Parking is close to the door and the stay is one ground level so there's no issue with carrying luggage.

AC didnt switch on, and the rooms can get quite warm. It was about 33C outside the day we were there. No fans in the room so it got hot, but it does get cooler in the nighttime. There was an AC in the living room but it wouldn't turn on.

Kitchen Chairs and Sofa was unconfertable.

Very steep narrow stairs to this apt. Very icy driveway beside the stairs.

The apartment was clean, convenient, roomy and well equipped. We were quite comfortable throughout our stay.

There was a large hole in the ceiling of the second bedroom that we were not advised about. Since we only used the main bedroom, it was not an issue for us, but if there had been a second couple with us, it would have been disconcerting to sleep in the room with a large hole exposing pipes and beams.

Great location, very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and the Zone Portuaire. Fully equipped kitchen. Would go back!
