Nice room, comfortable bed

Being charged an extra $39.90. Ridiculous! When I queried this I was informed it was for Wifi and tea and coffee. That is a lot of Wifi & tea & coffee for 3 people over 1 night. Why are these costs not built into the quoted price, not lurking in the Small print. It was a nice hotel , great staff and a perfect location. However, we had stayed 1 night in another hotel in the same area 2 weeks prior and our bill was $200 cheaper. Thanks Hotel Zelos, I won’t be back. Felt a bit ripped off!

Very central location directly opposite Powell St BART station which made access to SFO airport ideal. Good public transport links to all areas from Market/ Fourth St and hassle-free with a Clipper card that can be purchased at machines in BART stations.

Hotel very dark and poor lighting. Scent at reception lobby was over-powering. Included breakfast very limited and reception quite obstructive and unaccommodating for special dietary requirements. Booking said breakfast included, but didn't say if this was continental or full American and what this included. More detail required on booking description please.

The location is right next to where the drugged up, homeless wander around. The hotel take unauthorised payments from your card. They charge you more than you agree with booking.com. They claim you have a 10 dollar credit for the mini bar, but there is no mini bar in the room. Just $7 dollar bottles of water. They banboozle you with lots of additional costs when you check in and claim you will get it back. Do not book here. They are deceptive, deceitful thieves. I have emailed 3 times to ask why they took additional funds from my credit card 3 days after we left the hotel. Totally unacceptable.

Our room was spacious. There were plenty of places. Bathroom was nice. There was an ice/water dispencer on our floor. In general we liked the hotel. Location was also veey good.

Even though location was very good there were so much homeless people around the hotel. In the early morming and late nights it can be scary.

Convenient location, classy

It would be so nice if they had a small spot anywhere to let your dog relieve themselves… then it would be outstandingly perfect! I stay here whenever I’m in the city

No issues really!

Bed was comfortable and the room size was fine. Windows are small and not much light comes through. The bathroom was very outdated. Although we got one of the larger rooms with tub (needed to soak due to back problem), the shower was so tiny you could not bend and there was not hand showerhead. There was an antique and scar tub about 3 feet in depth and you had climbed down and up to get in/out and there was no handrail. I was surprised it passed the building inspection. Filled tub with water and the dirt ring was evident. Didn't use the tub and advised the front desk. We were on the sixth floor and could hear one of the adjacent rooms toilet flushing every time it was in use. Toilet did not flush well. The location was great within 5 min walk of the convention center and Union Square, Bart, etc. Quiet and easy to enter/exit the hotel. Front desk staff were polite but did not offer much information in terms of good restaurants, sites, etc.

Updated bath and improve room cleanliness. Better soundproofing. Complimentary coffee to be available earlier than 7am.

The staff at the reception was friendly even at arrival closer to midnight. The room was well arranged and every day very well cleaned. A very comfortable experience, thank you!

Outside the hotel there are many poor, homeless people. I guess this is not a problem your company can solve, but the city of SF and the society as a whole.

The location of our rooms was great! The beds were comfortable. The room was clean.

A stand up shower would have been appreciated. No one needs a tub anymore. The bathroom could be larger. Checkout- I asked for an in person checkout because my sister and I planned to split bill evenly on our credit cards. When we came to check out, they had already settled the bill on my credit card and could not undo because of some software update. That was not the deal and we were upset about that.

The hotel is just off Market Street in the heart of the city. The is a cool hotel, with a great vibe. We had the best experience with Jeff, the guest service agent. He was professional yet so welcoming and empathetic.

The room was very spacious, and the location was close to a lot of interesting city attractions (Moscone Center, Union Square, etc.).

I was paying over $700 / night for four nights, and my toilet didn't work for over 24 hours of them. Even once it "worked", it took numerous attempts to flush to actually flush. The hotel was booked at capacity during my stay, so there were no other rooms for me to transfer to. Management was so kind as to refund what amounts to the resort fee (around $80) - this after I asked them to do what they felt was right, and that's what they came up with. Even traveling to other floors was not a realistic option as the floors that had restrooms were occupied by companies hosting events for a conference that was in town (floor 7, which was my floor, had a restroom that was out of service; floor 5 was completely booked out and had a checkin desk; floor 9 was regularly occupied by conference room attendees).

Convenient to Moscone and comfortable

Staff was excellent. Parking was convenient. Decor was sophisticated. Facility was clean.

Bed was very uncomfortable. No real amenities. Poor value.

Centrally located near MTA stops, restaurants and attractions. Easily identifiable. Staff are friendly. Very clean, free espresso and water in the rooms.

the patio outside has loud music and people were talking as I was trying to sleep. i just put my fan noise and couldn’t hear it anymore.
