We stayed in the family suite. We were a little disappointed this room was not directly on the beach however we were not in the room too much. The room slept five of us comfortably, the beds were comfortable and it was just a very short walk to the beach. The rooms were a little outdated.
Rooms need to be updated. The shower wall had tape on the tiles to hold them together.

Good location
Room has busted shower with broken shower tiles that I had to notify the front desk so I wouldn't get penalized and I wouldn't damage the facilities further. Thankfully, the repair guy was able to come quickly since I was told that if this room didn't work for us (?), they would have to provide a lesser room (if any) in exchange for the room we booked at a quoted rate. That was an unacceptable answer. The repair guy was able to temporarily patch the shower with quickset that dried quickly enough for us to use the shower that evening. It looked terrible, but we lived with it. There are many updates needed for these rooms, even if they are being booked at "reasonable" prices. We also received somewhat deceptive advertising on the BUY 1/GET 1 FREE breakfast specials in lieu of complementary hotel breakfasts. We have 5 people and these monopolistic hotel/restaurants severely overprice breakfasts ($16-$18 for very basic breakfast) and only offer 1 BOGO coupon per family. They would not split the check so we could at least apply two, so an anticipated $50 breakfast for 5 turned into a $100 breakfast for 5 (after using the coupon)! Very poor value and deceptive advertisement by the hotel when booking and even on the coupon. Photos of the shower before/after repair upon request.

There wasn’t even a mattress pad on the bed. The room was damp. The lighting didn’t work because there were too few outlets to accommodate the appliances in the room. The television stopped working during the night and required us to unplug it and plug it back in.

There was nothing to like about this property. It was dirty, run down and looked like possibly shady deals and meet ups taking place in the parking lot and rooms.

Location and size of room
Did not clean room on any day and we were there 5 days, Had to go get our own towels. Office was closed more than it was open, had to go get coffee at another hotel property . When we left all the waste baskets were overflowing on the floor because of no clean room.

The beach was nice. There were fireworks over Lake Huron.
The bed was very uncomfortable. A new mattress is needed.

The guy at the front desk was FABULOUS!!! And I loved the Quiet atmosphere.
The desperately need new mattresses. They are broke down. And the carpet needs to be removed. It was pretty worn-out, stained & it made our feet grossly dirty.

Check in was friendly and easy. The location on the lake was good. Hard to believe, but, we didn't see any bed bugs. Not much else to say.
Pretty much everything. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR PICTURES! The property was nothing like the pictures. The building was in disrepair. The carpet on the balcony was torn and folded over itself. The chairs on the deck were wedged under the railing. There were light bulbs missing. There was a burnt hold in a chair cushion 8" in diameter. The hot water was so hot that it would take your skin off if you didn't pay close attention. I never thought hot water from a faucet could be that hot. It's shameful that booking.com would allow a property like that on their site.

I absolutely loved the women at the front desk, Annika. She was the sweetest human being and helped us so much.
We initially booked at the Waterfront Inn, but upon arrival and seeing how horrible the rooms were, we had to beg to upgrade to the Bridge Vista. The rooms were covered in bugs, had no heat, and no pillows. Being 5 months pregnant this was unacceptable. The gentleman at the front desk (not sure his name) was very rude and unhelpful and luckily Annika made up for it.

The waterfront location for the sunrise was beautiful.
The facility seemed underused. The air was very stale in the room. We got there after dark and all the lights were unplugged so no lights until we scrambled around to find them. No breakfast is ok but have some sort of coffee available please.

Our 2nd floor room saw an amazing sunrise and we fell asleep listening to the waves!
Both mattresses in our room were terrible (cheap?), one was a little worse than the other, we tried out both.

Overlooking the water and seeing the island and bridge. Wife had a great time in the water at 68. I enjoyed watching her. Can't wait for next year same time.
Walked for ice, but need the exercise for I just had knee replacement.

The location was nice not right on the strip but not to far
The rooms looked NOTHING like they do on the website, They are tiny,and looks like a run down motel. For the $143.00 i paid it could have been allot nicer. The parking lot was so small it was hard to get my truck in and out. I called and asked if they had a pool. Then get there for them to tell me NOPE we can use the one next door. Really I wouod have just stayed next door. NOT HAPPY

The waterfront location was the only thing good about Thais place
Our room was filthy and infested with spiders. We had to drive out of town and find a Walmart so we could get bug spray and something for the nasty smell

All signs in the room an on the telephone in the room, said to "Dial 0 if anything is not to your satisfaction" We dialed 0 about the AC, let it ring til it stopped. No one responded. Since I walk with a cane and cannot do steps, we suffered through the night. The next morning, we drove to the front office, went in to get a cup of coffee and tell them about the room being unsatisfactory. The same lady who checked us in said "If you had ANY complaints you should have come back down to office personally, or called the phone number of hotel from your cell. And there is no coffee. that's why I give you coupons" We stayed in same room the second night, (my birthday) and when we checked out, we were told the manager could not speak with me, there were 2 and both were unavailable. I could leave my number, or call back after 9am. the property for two days, and leaving 4 messages that were promised to be called back.... nothing.

The Picture of the wood cabinets, beautiful Kitchen, is not what it looks like, place is way run down, smells musty, mold,piles of ants in room!!!

Waterpark is barely functioning and dirty. Waterfront Inn Motel itself and surrounding buildings are unsightly and outdated. Has coffee maker but you'll need to bring your own mugs.

Good location, walking distance to other attractions.
Rooms needed repairs. The carpet tac-strip in room 401 was exposed and sharp nails were a safety problem for children.
