This was our second visit to the Lago Mar, albeit 18 years ago we were there the first time. We came back for the pleasant atmosphere and vibe and we were not dissappointed. Time is standing still when in the Lago Mar, relaxing around resort and beach. Sure, time has taken it's toll on the property, but in a good way. Everything is nicely kept in what could be the 1960's. Don't expect a minimalistic, modern hotel, but a charming Florida decor. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Surely we will be back.

It was right by the beach. Nice pool and lots of cool games outdoors for kids. Suite was very spacious, kitchen was useful and they provided everything to cook. Room service washed dishes too.

Booked ocean front but was on the 3rd floor. You could go downstairs through the elevator but had to go around to get to the beach. They should have a way through the back that allows you to go straight to the beach instead of going all the way around. The rooms are too contemporary looking, they should make them more modern.

The resort has this beautiful family vibe . Its safe and quiet yet so much to do for your kid . You can literally stay in the resort for a week without leaving the property. The private beach access , the nice swimming pools , the play area for kids are all well maintained and nice. it’s a great runaway .

The beach and pool were both very nice. The room was big, clean and nicely appointed. There were lots of kids, which was perfect for our family. Friendly staff and guests. Great atmosphere.

Lago Mar didn't miss a single detail as far as being a special destination. From the moment you walk into the open air lobby, the sights and smells are a welcome comfort. We came straight from getting off our cruise (9 AM arrival), and they were gracious and let us enjoy the amenities right away, in spite of the 4:00 check in time. Our room was very well appointed, the beds were extremely comfortable. The robes in the closet were a nice touch after showering. Our family absolutely loved the private beach, lagoon style pool, the hammocks, ping pong, etc. We enjoyed a delicious meal in Acquario while enjoying views of the beach and sea. Check out was a cinch and we will definitely be back!

Very nice resort with attentive and pleasant staff. It's really old style Florida at it's best and a nice change to all the chain hotels that look so much alike at the end of the day.
