Very accommodating staff.

Not a problem for me, but elevator broken.

Sehr schönes, gepflegtes Hotel. Eigentlich hätte ich es mit 9 bewertet, wenn es nicht den untenstehenden Vorfall gegeben hätte.

Ich habe unmittelbar vor dem Einchecken ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten gebucht und in der Hotelbeschreibung war ein Aufzug angeführt. Als wir im Hotel eincheckten wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Aufzug nicht funktioniert und das von uns gebuchte Zimmer in der 4. Etage ist. Man bot uns ein Einbettzimmer in der 1.oder2. Etage an oder ein Zimmer mit Ausziehcouch in der 3. Etage. Da ich ein Zweibettzimmer gebucht und auch schon bezahlt hatte, war das keine Alternative. Also mußten wir (beide um die 70 Jahre alt) das Gepäck mühsam in die 4. Etage schleppen. Zusätzlicher Ärger war, das sich das Zimmer gegenüber der Treppenhaustüre befand. Und da alle Gäste der 4. Etage über dass Treppenhaus gehen mussten, klappte die Türe recht oft lautstark zu.

The location and room were set up nicely.

However, upon check in, the elevator was out of order. The front desk staff did ask if I needed help with my bags and also offered a snack from the in house store. I was inconvenienced because I recently had surgery on my leg and it was difficult to walk up and down the stairs. Also the staircase smelled weird and was missing a handrail from floor one to 2.

Front desk staff were really helpful when we had to change rooms. Friendly shuttle guy.

Initial room was an abomination - putrid smell, right next to people playing loud music, partying, smelled like they were doing drugs. Lighting is pretty terrible - fluorescent. Honestly looked a lot better on Booking than in reality.

Everything was great for what we wanted- a good clean room for one night stay with an airport shuttle. The shuttle arrived on time and driver was cordial.

The only thing that I could mention is that the towels were pretty thin and not very soft. For one shower, it was okay.

There was a shampoo and soap dispenser on the shower wall but they were empty. Wish I’d known that before I got in the shower. Would’ve been nice to have had shampoo. i was able to grab the small soap chip from the bathroom counter but geez… take the dispenser off if you aren’t using them.

Breakfast is really poor. Front desk staff never says welcome, good morning, hello, hi, etc, etc.....
