Great location, staff were friendly in the hotel.

It could use a few updates.

The service is horrible, 1) I use my Hilton account to check in one day earlier but they cancelled without notification( I know there is national holiday, but I security my room already), when we checked in around 6 pm, the manager service is rubbish, only two opinion a lowest level corn room or I have to cancel the room and left the hotel.2) there is no crib for my room and this was confirmed 2 days ago before I checked in and wait for 30 mins to get the crib.3) there is bugs in the room, I attached the big picture See you Hilton, I go to Marriott from today.

Hilton did a great job renovating this Hilton Head property. The rooms(especially AC) were very updated and clean. The shower was absolutely amazing! The pool and beach area was world class!

All staff exceeded expectations, especially the bellman/valet workers!! Very nice house keeping staff. I also liked all the extras in the room ( full size body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner). The bath towels and beach towels at the pool were awesome!

I didn’t like the hard mattress or the wait time for the elevators.

We stayed at the 7 th floor oceanfront Room.. rooms are tacky and definitely need a big renovation. Bedsheets have some big brown stains internally. Elevators are always very busy and feel old and cheap. Hotel has beautiful private beach access and pool area is decent. Staff were courteous and helpful. Stay away from the highly overpriced onsite blue restaurant that charges $ 18 for a packaged pita bread and grocery store hummus. And absolutely pathetic wings and food. Extensive taxes extra fees on alcohol parking etc. overall not happy with our stay and feel overrated and overpriced place.

The view from our second room was beautiful. The grounds were as well.

Our first room had an explosive toilet that shot water out onto the floor ar random times. The ac in our first room didn't work, and 2 engineers came to fix both issues and nothing worked. We eventually weew offered another perfect room after I complained a 3rd time. The new room was freezing which was wonderful (showed us how bad the first ac really was) and it smelled clean. The first room was very musty and I really noticed it in comparison.

Charges for EVERYTHING - “resort fee”, “destination fee”, “parking fee”, “daily fee” … all for … what exactly? Our first room leaked from the ceiling so badly it was creating puddles on the floor. We were not offered any sort of compensation or solution other than putting us in a cheaper room while we had booked a king oceanfront room. The manager is NEVER around to deal with issues. The housekeepers are hit or miss - the one lady cleaning the rooms the morning we left was extremely rude & pushy for us to leave ASAP. The 9th floor is extremely hot & our “replacement” room smelled of mildew and mold. The elevators almost shut you into the doors of you aren’t quick enough to load on. Overall, an unpleasant stay for a Hilton.

We loved the view of our room, along with the size of our room. The outdoor pool was nice and clean, and we GREATLY appreciated having towels from the hotel that we could use on the beach and at the pool. Also to note, that EVERY SINGLE staff member was EXCEPTIONALLY kind! That was the main thing that stood out for us. Devin (breakfast server) always made it a point to speak to us and connect with my daughter, as well as the bellman, striking conversation as we waited for our car.

We think that the elevators could use some improving. The food at Blue was amazing and the fruit was delicious - but the rest of the food was average, giving the prices.

Location and view

Our glass sliding door had lost its seal so the view was not clear from the inside. We told staff and they said they would send someone to check on it but no one came and there was. I offer for is to change rooms. Every else was wonderful!!

Convenient beach front

It was a noisy area due to the doors sliding from the nearby rooms. The AC was noisy too.

Breakfast was good.

The hotel looks gloomy inside the lobby and the room. I stayed tonight and my phone did not work the whole time I called the front lobby on my personal phone And I was told about a service front desk that someone will come in 30 minutes to fix it. No one ever came. Some of the outlet in the rooms were not working.

The breakfast was very pricey for a breakfast meal but it was delicious . We ate from the buffet and all of the dishes were very presentable. The only thing I missed was not having any grits.

Only 1 of 3 elevators were working consistently during our stay. Caused a lot of waiting at the elevators. Beach rinse stations were dirty and not functioning properly.

Everything was fine except I got scammed.

The hotel charged me 131.00 for drinks that I did not order. Please check your receipts before leaving the hotel and until the date they do not want to refund my money.👎🏻

Its a beautiful location. We stayed here years ago when it was the Marriott and it doesn't look like it's been renovated, but still a nice property. The room was spacious.

There were not alot of activities as advertised. We were thinking about playing a game of pool on Saturday and they covered the pool table and towel station and equiptment were locked up tight before 6pm.
