Breakfast was good. It had a variety of choices available and was located in a convenient place in the hotel.
Prior to visiting, we booked two rooms and requested for them to be close together. Upon arrival, we were told that they only had one room available for us. The person at the desk told use there was nothing they could do and they only had room for us. We told her we had booked at least a month before our visit so this had to be a mistake. She told us they were overbooked and there weren't any more rooms. Upon my husband telling her that she needed to find a room for us, she finally did. She upgraded the "missing" room to a King suite. Because it was after midnight when we got there due to the time it took for us to get there, this was much appreciated. Of course, our rooms were then on different floors when we had asked during the booking process for the rooms to be next to each other. The attitude towards us and unwillingness to help us was not appreciated at all. Even after we checked in nobody would answer the phone from our room. We tried to call to get some information and we tried calling 3 or 4 times and each time the phone would just ring and ring.

There was an entire hockey team and they were very very disrespectful towards other guests.

The room had several sub par items for what we would expect from a Hampton Suites Hotel:
poor grouting in bathroom, missing hook on back of the bathroom door, drain in sink was slow, poor grouting around air conditioner, door to room needed oiling --- loud squeak when opening door,

The hotel was mostly fine. It was a little dirty in places but mostly it was good. I did not have breakfast either. It seemed rather small but did have a waffle maker. Nice pool too. I would stay again if I had to.
The one issue I did have was billing. When checking out, I asked the receptionist to pay the bill on 2 separate credit cards. However, when doing so, my card got charged the full amount and then another half on top of it. My mother's card was charged for the full amount as well. I called customer service to get it sorted out and they said that they would have a manager call in the afternoon to sort issues out. The afternoon came and nobody called. I called the hotel instead to sort out the issue and the receptionist said they would wipe the sale clean and start new. In the end, I never got charged and my mother got charged the full amount. Needless to say, we are just leaving it the way it is before even more confusion is caused. This took longer than the 48 hours that they suggest to let the banks sort out the transactions too.

The bed was comfortable. Room was a decent size
First off the people working the service desk didn't have a clue what was going on. Then when we got to our room it hadn't been cleaned. Someone definitely had a party in there. We where informed it would be cleaned so we left and came back to them moving us rooms. You would have thought they would offer atleast a small discount or atleast a complimentary candy bar or something. Lol. Our 2nd room was clean but room service only comes in if you ask for them. The cable is horrible. Most stations won't even come in and the TV is set up so you can either watch it from the couch or the bed. Not at the same time. The bathrooms are tiny compared to any hotel I've stayed in. For the price I paid for a 4 night stay you would think the accommodations would have been better.

I liked the nice big room I booked.
All of the mechanical aspects of the window shades were broke and out of commission. I manually wound up the one window covering and told the front desk I did so. I like to watch the helicopter come and go from the hospital, one of the reasons I wanted that room.
The shower was terrible. Not much water pressure or limited by water saver in head or both. I didn't like it.
When I checked into the room I noticed the tv didn't work. I called the desk and told them and I was told there was no one there that could fix it. I managed to find out why the next morning. There is a switch by the light switches that needs to be on for the tv to work. I would have thought that everyone that works at that desk would know that but I guess not. Maybe there should be a little signage stating "This switch needs to be on for TV to work." When I did get the tv to work in the morning I found out there are no local channels at this hotel. I've never came across that before in any of my stays. It's not like this is a budget hotel and I like to watch the local new and weather in the mornings. Call me crazy.
And finally, when I checked into the motel the gal asked me for a credit card that I thought she said was for incidentals. She charged my card a 2nd time for the price of the room. I booked the room through Bookings.com and paid for it then. I've tried calling the hotel with no luck at getting ahold of a human, I've emailed them and at this time still no response.

usually fine, but this time there was no shampoo & the plastic tray for coffee maker didn’t fit well so coffee didn’t work well. Also, 2 workers came into our room better we even checked out.

Nothing.
Bathtub piece was broken. Garbage found in closet. Sugar packs and creamer found on top shelf in closet. Microwave plate was dirty. Garbage piled up outside main entrance. The next morning only the top garbage was removed. The inside of the swimming pool entrance door was ALL full of rust! Did not want to touch door. Pool area was too dark. Fan did not work in bathroom.

The pool area someone had the back door open which created so much fog in the room, it was hard to see anything.
It would be nice of the staff would have ensured that this did not happen. It took one brave guest to confront the individualts who opened it.
