The host and staff were welcoming, pleasant, accommodating and very friendly. The location worked well for us, as all are planned events were within 5 minute drive. The beach was straight east of the Inn, less than a 1.5 miles. Walkable, but I recommend driving. Parking in the historic town is easy. The breakfast at the Inn was exceptionally tasty. The room very comfortable. Access to the main reception area is 24/7. We highly recommend the Anchor Inn.

Inn keepers were so sweet. They were very welcoming. The house was perfectly positioned in NSB with a wine house next door! very walkable area.

The room was very hot. We ended up purchasing two fans just to sleep. At times, it was hotter inside the room than outside. I understand they share the A/C throughout the house but it felt like there was no air nor air flow. That’s honestly the only complaint.

Beautiful surroundings, very nice interior furnishings, happy and positive environment, swing set and large patio with table and 2 swinging chairs.

Needed to ask to reckons the toilet, otherwise once done, all went well.

Noise from street!

Really close to the water. And walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Five minute walk from an old Fort and the docks. Beautiful town, the charm of the simple life. Dog friendly. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in new Smyrna. They made us breakfast to go because we were trying to see a space launch. And they had a little cookies and snacks for us and coffee and hot chocolate.

This would probably a plus for many people this is really a personal thing. I am a light sleeper and they kept the lobby light on so people could come and go during the night. But it left a soft glow outside that I could see through my windows because they were not black out curtains. normally that would keep me awake. However there are other rooms there that would be away from that if you are a light sleeper like me.

The owners were very friendly. The accomodations were wonderful. Walking distance to Canal Street Historic District and minutes from the beach. We will definitely stay there again.

The homemade breakfasts both mornings were delicious and the dining area was adorable! We loved it!! We stayed in the Manatee room and it was perfectly decorated right down to the pulls on the ceiling fan! Every detail was thought of from the waters and robes in the rooms to the cookies and chips available in the dining area! We told ALL of our friends and family about Anchor Inn as soon as we got home!! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely nothing to dislike....Anchor Inn was EXACTLY what we were looking for to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday! I have grown up in the Central Florida area and have spent 55 years going to New Symrna Beach for the day or a short weekend getaway but never in a a place as special as Anchor Inn!

Beautifully restored 100-year old building. Very artistically decorated.

Breakfast was different every day. Fair portions not too much or too little and catered towards my taste or dietary needs. Location near beach and other bars and restaurants and other small businesses.
