The room was beat up, dated and depressing. The sliding mirror window to bath was revolting and cheesy

The property is essentially located by tons of restaurants and not too far from family fun activities, such as spare time in arcade with laser tag. It was awesome for me and my family to unwind and get to know the High Point and Greensboro area.
The property was great however does still need some renovation. You can tell that they are implementing renovation updates. Currently, the pool could use an update because it is a little smaller than most.

This was a nice location and quiet area.
It didn’t appear to 100% clean found a pair of socks and the alarm clock didn’t work it appeared to be cut. The lock latch was loose.

Checking out
Prior to arrival I requested extra blankets, which I never received. The young lady who checked me in was not professional or friendly. I gave up on the free breakfast because a group of parents were letting their kids (probably 8 or 9) use the pancake maker. The issue is they were playing a around the breakfast area, and not parenting. What in the holy heck is up with the shower???? A closet door separates the shower to the bedroom. Just a mess.

I stayed at this same hotel 7 years ago. Since then, the price has gone up, but the hotel is severely outdated, particularly our room. The lobby is nice and updated, but our room was not.

The staff had excellent communication skills and also well mannered. The room was very nice aswell.
I believe the pool should be an outdoor pool rather than inside or make the water a tad bit warmer if they wish to keep it indoors.

The king room was very spacious with a comfortable couch and bed. On the plus side it has a jacuzzi bathtub.
The only problem was the breakfast. They only provide a Jimmy d frozen sausage that has to be microwaved, muffins, and cereal with the milk being served in a pitcher set in ice. The only thing that was good was the pancake maker they have.

Size of room and bathroom
The sink in did not drain properly, the shower had terrible pressure and the bathroom was not spotless. The pillows were terrible

the manager (Sharita) was very accommodating when I requested an early check in due to my needing to freshen up prior to a formal matter. My entire experience with this facility was a very positive experience.

I liked the cleanliness of the room, it had a mini small fridge in case you got any groceries with you. The breakfast was simple in choices, yet very yummy.
I did not like the discomfort of the bed as it's a bit on the harder side, but easy to sleep.

I liked the location as far as being close to the family I was visiting.
When i got to the hotel i went to give them a new card to charge for when we checked out and they said we can switch it when it came time. The staff stated they informed me of an authorization of the charge for our stay when they did not. I woke up the next morning and to me it looked like they had charged my card. I had to make sure that "hold" was taken off and I saw my money in my account. Over $600! I was not please with how I was treated when I had initially talked to the manager Ray about the situation. I got my account balance fixed before I left which made me feel a little bit better but they never once told me they were going to hold my money.

We enjoyed our stay. We just got married and it was nice to get away.
The phone didn't work, 2 of the light bulbs were burned out, the TV looked like it was from 1990. The TV looked like it was all red or green or blue. We expected HBO though it was not advertised. The bed was hard. Poor service at night.
