Booking was easy.

Cleanliness of room. Bed headboard was covered in layer of dust. The bathroom had no trash can. Shower head seems to be falling off wall, and tub needs a good scrub. Bathroom floor tile corners covered in dust.

It was very affordable and nice compared to the other options in Silver City. The retro vibe is well done.

The check-in time was 3:00 but I'm used to 2:00 as a normal time. I showed up between and was told it was $20 to check in early, regardless of if the room is ready or not. Went for a hike instead. No fault to the property just an odd fee that I hadn't seen before. The place is definitely old but they've put their touch to it which is nice. That being said it had a bit of an aroma.

Nicely decorated room. I booked this hotel because it advertised free wireless high-speed Internet access. At first we were placed in room 110, but there was no internet access. Then, they moved us to 104. The bed was comfortable, The room was clean. The internet was useless. The location is nice if you are going to be at the Gila National Park when it opens in the morning. Did I mention how bad the internet was? There is plenty of parking and many nearby restaurants. Worthless internet.

At 4:00 AM I was able to get 156 ping and 0.54 upload speed. The young lady at the front desk seemed totally unconcerned about the lack of internet. Breakfast starts at 07:30, which was too late for us.

Bed too firm. Shower was very hard to operate, either Hot or Cold, could not adjust temp.
