The breakfast was mediocre. The pools chlorine levels were so high, we couldn't stay in, and the hot tub was far too hot.

The staff was very rude complaining about her job, having to do it all, you could not ask for anything or you would get told off. The front desk / kitchen help stated she was the only one there. My 79 year old mother lost her appetite at breakfast because of her ranting.

Easy to find, wall electrical outlet out front to charge our car overnight, clean and comfy room, good breakfast, last-minute availability

We were driving across SD and made the reservation about an hour prior to arrival. A little spendy, but seemed fairly new (or newly renovated), very clean, excellent front staff who checked us in that evening. Just what we needed to get some sleep before continuing our long road trip.

We were on our way to Custer, SD, and we got caught in an Ice Storm at 11:30pm and had to find a place quick. Howard Johnson in Oacoma staff was helpfull, the rooms were clean. Breakfast was great, before we continued our drive the next morning.

Facility was fine, older but a great location. Staff was awful, unprofessional and unfriendly. They tried to recharge my card several times, without asking, because they messed up on the original charge on 1 of the 2 rooms I had reserved. .. I've had problems with this and always lock my cards when they aren't in use, so it declined their subsequent charges after which the "manager", that's what she called herself although not very aptly named, called to tell me "I stole the room and she was gonna call the police". She was ridiculous, very daft... other than that, it was a fine stay, warm bed with a decent pool that my kids enjoyed.
