All in all our stay was FANTASTIC and we loved New Orleans House. Almost all of the staff were outstanding with the exception of the one "old grouchy" bartender who was rude, dismissive and not very cordial or welcoming at all. Didn't even get his name but he was not at all friendly so we just avoided the bar when he was behind it.

The toilet in room 11A was a complete joke. It was made for a child, not an adult. It was so small and so low to the floor that I fell backwards the first time I used it and ended up with a huge bruise on my back. This toilet needs to be replaced with an ADULT toilet. This is an accident waiting to happen that is easily and inexpensively corrected.

Everything was good

$400 a night is robbery. I rate it a zero (0). The The Island House was just $20 more and a 10 rating. (understanding that there weren't very many rooms available at either site.)

The stairs to reach the front check-in were plentiful and difficult particularly with more than one piece. More importantly, I have serious balance and leg issues, There was no one that seemed to be available to assist me. After I walked through the room, I saw many areas that needed to be cleaned i.e.,closet, behind the microwave oven behind safe (which was broken and could't be fixed), edges on all corners of the room and bathroom. The 'ManCave' behind the stage certainly could have been an opportunity to meet other men but the back part is very dangerous and is a lawsuit waiting ro happen. The ground is not flat and the plywood is so derteriorated it is coming apart. I was also expecting access to the Internet and availability of porn on the television.

Loved the whole vibe. It’s was a comfortable environment for a getaway

It’s just needs a little TLC, but I would definitely go back. Steven at the front desk was outstanding as was the rest of the staff.

Location was great, Staff was super friendly, Pool was great!

The room they gave us was extremely small (did not have enough room to open the suitcase on the floor, it had to be open on top of the bed) The room also had no window, and it was extremely loud at night, you could hear everything from the room next door, the bar next door, and the pool music.
