The family that owns the property were 10/10 hosts, telling us some history about the 50+ years they’ve been running the spot. They had local suggestions and a wonderfully tended garden lot

Minor things: water took some time to heat but was plenty hot once it got going. Wifi was 7/10 but had some slow periods.

The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The ocean is right across the street. Kihei town is just down the road.

Prices in Maui are pretty high. The gentrification of the island is a concern.

Everything about this place was paradise. I did not have the need to request anything because everything was provided. The staff was superb. It was a mother/daughter team that was so welcoming and loving. Our stay was beyond comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you for the extraordinary experience.

The Staff member greeted me and happily gave me the key as well as the key lock code. She was very friendly and told me to let her know if we needed anything for the room. I felt very welcomed upon arrival.

Expensive, mandatory cleaning fee of $95 but cleaned only once during our 8 day stay, but maybe it’s due to covid safety protocols, a small microwave and coffee maker are located outside the rooms and you have to fumble in the dark to use them, located along a busy road with no sidewalks, no security door locks, there are no stores or facilities that are within walking distance

Stayed in the room suite & it was great. Clean, big bathroom & overall convenient room. Staff was attentive & so sweet.

I enjoyed everything about my stay. The hostess, and her family were very attentive to our needs. Everything was perfect! It was a pleasure to interact and talk with the family...and they made sure we were comfortable. They were very friendly and I made new friends...including Grandma Nona.....gotta luv her! Everything was beyond my wildest dreams......loved everything.

I loved everything...and I mean everything! There was nothing that I didn't like.

The key code didn't work, but it wasn't a problem to find host who re-programmed. Appreciated using ice chest, beach chairs and umbrella.

room was graciously furnished, clean, comfortable, had its own patio, air conditioning worked well. I liked the quiet and simplicity and "old Hawaii" vibe of the property. Staff were consistently courteous, gracious and helpful. Parking was simple, too. In all, I really enjoyed my stay. One down side was that the sliding screen door to the patio didn't work; it fact, it fell off its runners and I had to lean it up against the building to avoid having it fall over on me when I opened the patio sliding glass door. I would have liked to be able to have the screen door work, so I could let the evening and morning air into the room. I told the office staff about this and they said they were aware but couldn't get it fixed before I arrived. I asked that it not be fixed (because I didn't want a workman on the patio) while I was there.

Excellent cottages with superbly maintained grounds. Plumeria, Mango, Date and numerous other trees provide a unique escape from the hustle and bustle of typical resort. The rooms were exceptionally sanitized and cleaned. We loved sitting on the patio for our morning coffee and breakfast and listen to the birds chirping.
