Good breakfast. We didn't eat in the evening because it was so expensive other than on one night when there was a special Asian promotion, which was good.

The room was large, a small apartment, with a separate seating area and kitchenette, and balcony. Our request for twin beds was honoured. The breakfast was fabulous. The view from the restaurant was lovely. Didn't get a chance to try the little pool, as we arrived after closing time at 18:00, and left before it opened at 10, but it looked nice.

Our balcony looked out on the gravel parking lot across the street. Luckily, the jacaranda was in bloom, or it would have been quite a disappointing view. The bathroom was cramped. The bin for used toilet paper was on the other side of the sink as it was the wrong size to sit next to the toilet. This was not ideal. We had requested twin beds, which we got, but there was only a sheet and the polyester bed cover, no blankets. When we asked for some, we got two king size blankets which meant either you were too hot if you doubled it, or it would hang off the bed and drag onto the floor in the middle of the night. At this price, I would have expected a blanket to fit the bed. To be fair, we were only staying one night, so I guess we got the short end of the stick.

There is nothing not to like about the Hill View. The location is perfect with stunning views over Pissouri towards Troodos Mountains and out over the bay to Akrotiri. I stayed in a studio apartment, it was obvious a lot of thought had gone in to the beautifully decorated and well fitted apartment. It had everything I needed and more. The bed was really big and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and always fresh. Being a family run restaurant and hotel adds a more to the property with the staff being very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful views as very high on the hill at a distance from anything. Essential to have a car. Breakfast is delicious, cereal, various fruit and nuts, with toast or croissants. A cooked breakfast is available and excellent cappuccino. We ate once at Hill View and the food was excellent though rather English is style. Pissouri village is small but very nice with some good restaurants, we walked there but most people use a car due to the steep climb back.

Hill View suited us as we were there mainly to visit relatives in Limassol. We were disappointed by the beach/ promenade in Pissouri Bay but we did do some walks and liked the seafront restaurant. However, we really used Pissouri as a base for seeing our relatives and visiting the area.

The hotel is perched on a high hill above Pissouri village with stunning views, especially from the large restaurant. Parking is free, just across the road. Our apartment was upgraded from 1 bedroom to 2 (facing south) at no extra cost. Both apartments were really well decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable with very good Wi-Fi. The staff are professional, friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Breakfast consisted of a cold buffet offering cold meats, cheese, yoghurt, fruit and pastries and we had eggs, bacon and toast every morning, cooked to order. We sat outside on the terrace leading from the restaurant, with the same fantastic view. Breakfast really was a most enjoyable experience. The restaurant also has a good dinner menu. The village square below is accessible by a 5 minute downhill walk but takes much longer on the way back! It is also just a few minutes drive away and there are quite a few decent restaurants and bars in the village and a small shop. There is also a large supermarket and pharmacy at the bottom of the hill on the main road. We spent 5 days here visiting various beaches for walks and lunch and the interesting Cyprus Wine Museum in the village of Erini. We also spent a day in Paphos which was well worth a visit. Our stay here which was at the beginning of November, was very interesting and relaxing, due to the lovely atmosphere in the hotel, the friendly staff and the village of Pissouri. We also had sunshine every day.

Hillview is a really nice local family run property with the one of the best views in Cyprus and certainly the most beautiful views of gorgeous Pissouri Bay. Breakfast served in the lovely windowed restaurant overlooking the area all the way out into the Mediterranean, sun shinning thru, refreshing cool breeze, this is what you dream of. My accommodations were perfect: very comfortable, clean, attractive and spacious. The terrace was the ideal place to relax and enjoy the lovely surroundings. The restaurant is one of the best in Pissouri and the locals I met were also very complimentary about Giorgio’s culinary skills. Special thanks to Nikos, mentioned in several reviews, he is an artist in hospitality. Everyday he went out of way to make sure everything was good, and always offering to do something nice or mention something to see or do in the area. What a great way to show guests the pride you have in your business.
