Italy’s Hidden Gem
This property is one of a kind and Daniel, the property owner, is a magnificent host. I was there with three other families (16 people in total) and because of the organized layout, we never felt crowded. The kitchen and outdoor eating space are great for meal planning, cooking and of course eating. The pool and the surrounding area are simply amazing with stunning views of the Italian countryside. They are perfect for children and adults alike. If beaches are something you like, Porto San Giorgio is only 20 minutes away with beach and restaurants fit for any style.
Daniel did an amazing job of helping to plan our meals and excursions. He often suggested towns, restaurants, shops and special events to ensure we were immersed in the culture of the region. He even helped plan a special birthday party for one of the young girls in our group.
In short, we are already planning our next trip back!

We stayed at Il Melograno with our kids, parents and sisters and brothers. The house, the garden and the pool area was perfect for us. Enough space for everyone, clean house and clean poolarea. If any problems, Daniel came to help us right away.
Daniel and his family is kind and helpful, and they arranged a perfect weddingday for us. Ceremony, flowers, tables, food, wine, weddingcake, everything was perfect.
We had dinner at the house three nights and we recommend the local food and wine, really good.

Stunning farmhouse villa in beautiful surroundings!
We chose Il Melograno as holiday accommodation for our party of 3 families - it was more than ample for our group of 13 with plenty of space inside and out. The pool is on lovely hilltop location with great views and we were most impressed with the sun beds with individual shades! No messing about with umbrellas here. The terrace was lovely for lunches and evening meals and we enjoyed using the BBQ many times. The children enjoyed the table tennis and loved seeing the peacocks roam around and looking at wildlife and fish in the ponds. Daniel and Candy are excellent hosts, on hand to help with booking restaurants and giving advice on local attractions. We has a small problem with a broken bathroom lock, which Daniel sorted out straight away for us. We enjoyed a fabulous home cooked meal during our stay, made with delicious local ingredients - a lovely evening was had by all. The house is in a great location, close to a large supermarket and smaller amenities like a chemist, deli and small takeaway restaurant which we used a few times. The nearby town Fermo is worth a visit, with a charming evening market and lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. There is a beautiful beach at Porto San Giorgio which is only a 20 min drive away. We had a wonderful stay at Il Melograno and would definitely recommend to others booking a large group holiday. A delightful holiday villa in a beautiful situation
Il Melograno was a perfect venue for our large family party of nine adults and ten children, aged between two and fourteen. Daniel and Candida were very helpful, and their children were charming. The pool was lovely and the children had a wonderful time, but there were also lots of quiet outside spaces, where others could read, paint or catch up on emails. The terrace was ideal for large family meals with an excellent built in barbecue. We had a marvellous holiday and would certainly recommend this villa to others. Susie

Bezaubernde Villa in den Marken nahe dem Meer
Die Lage der Villa ist wunderschön, sie liegt ruhig und man schaut auf die sanften Hügel der Umgebung. Das Haus , ursprünglich ein typisches Bauernhaus, wurde liebevoll restauriert und die Schlafzimmer sind geschmackvoll teils mit antiken Möbeln eingerichtet. Da wir fast nur sonnige Tage hatten, genossen wir all die vielen Terrassen und kleinen Fischteiche, die sich über das riesige Grundstück verteilen. Wir mieten schon seit vielen Jahren in Europa große Häuser für unsere Familientreffen - dies ist vor allem wegen des wunderbaren, parkähnlichen Gartens und wegen der reizenden und hilfsbereiten Familie Jennings - eines der schönsten Häuser die wir kennen. Die Adria mit den Sandstränden ist in etwa 20 Minuten zu erreichen und war im Juni nicht überlaufen. Allen Familienmitgliedern hat die Villa Pommegranate so gut gefallen, dass sie gerne wieder einmal hierherkommen möchten.

Where to start, we got married in Ponzano Di Fermo and had our reception at the villa. Everything Daniel & Candi organised was absolutely perfect, the villa is beautiful and very authentic, exactly what we wanted for our special day.

Beautiful setting for our golden wedding
We had a lovely 2 week holiday at ll Melograno. We are a family of 20 with ages ranging from 2 to 72 and all of us had a fantastic time. The villa was perfect for us and the surrounding countryside very peaceful with magnificent views especially from the pool. Candi and Daniel prepared and served a delicious meal for us on our golden wedding anniversary, it was a perfect evening and one we will all remember. Thank you

Beautifully restored complex
We gathered at Ill Melograno to celebrate the wedding of our son James to Laura. It was a perfect venue set in beautiful gardens. The villa was great. The rooms upstairs were well appointed and all ensuite which was perfect. There was plenty of space downstairs for a large group to relax and mix together. There was a large kitchen with large table and chairs. Outside had two large covered areas won't enough seating for all.
On arrival we were greeted by Daniel and provided with a wonderful meal. We had elected for Daniel and Candy to provide breakfast each day and they were great plenty of choice and Daniel was on hand to provide anything that was needed. Daniel was the perfect host very helpful without being obtrusive. He engaged everybody in conversation. The wedding meal was absolutely wonderful and was enjoyed by all.
Daniel and Candy have done a superb job of renovating the property into a beautiful and restful place. The views were stunning and it was perfect for the wedding. The general consensus was that we all wished we were staying longer.
I would wholeheartedly recommmed Ill Melograno to anybody looking for a large villa to hold an event.

Beautiful, relaxing and a real delight!
We spent a weekend at Villa Pomegranate celebrating our wedding with our family. It was the most perfect venue! Quiet, spacious and comfortable. The property is beautiful, as are the views. There are so many lovely spots around the villa to relax, socialise or just take in the stunning scenery. The children loved it too...so much space to explore and the pool was enjoyed by all ages! Facilities were fantastic. Everything was well maintained and clean. Daniel and Candida were so helpful and friendly. We are already planning our next visit!

Amazing accommodation with stunning views
A group of 16 went for a 50th birthday celebration and Villa Pomegranate was the perfect venue. You will not be disappointed when you arrive! The house, gardens and view are all brilliant. Daniel and the family were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely go again.

An original og authentic accomodation
We (5 Danish families - 10 yongsters og 10 grown ups) spent the most fantastic summer holiday week at Il Melograna. The picures of the place and its surroundings don´t lie. On the opposite! We found a very special kind of place hidden away on the top of a hill with panoramic view. Obviously, Candy and Daniel have put a lot of energy in making a home for their family and a very authentic accomodation for their guests. Every little detail in the house, the garden and the pool area is thought through with great love and passion for Marche and for the landscape and culture around Il Melograna. The hosts were just "our kind of people": always nearby to help, come up with ideas as what to visit and where to eat. Twice during the week we enjoyed Candy´s excellent Italian cooking skills and Daniels good choices of local wines. If you expect functionality, you will be dissapointed. Il Melograna is renowated, furnished and equipped with a love old and original materials. Except for the bed matresses we found that very charming! Il Melograna is the perfect place if you want to experience the Italian way of life in a part of Italy not very well-known to Northern Europeans. There was plenty of room, hang-outs and "hiding places" for everyone. Beach is only 20 minutes drive away. But we never got to see that much, because everything we nedded was all at Il Melograna!

Fabulous Family Getaway
Great destination for large groups. Extended family of 15 of all ages had a great time. Plenty of space and well equipped. Excellent pool and delicious food cooked by the owners. Great location. Within easy reach of shops, restaurants and many places of interest. Beautiful surroundings.

Perfection
What a stunning farmhouse set in the rolling hills and valleys with the Sibillini Mountains in the distance. Great accommodation, ensuite rooms with lots of everything you need in a home from home. 3 kitchens to choose from, many indoor seating areas and 2 large seating areas outside, one with incredible views. The owner Daniel and his wife Candida couldn't have been more helpful. We were a group of 19 and none of us had been to this particular part of Italy before. I can't wait to return..

Stunning..
The setting was quite magical with stunning views across to the Sibillini Mountains, the lush valleys between and the fields of Sunflowers. The accommodation was great, all rooms were ensuite, there were 3 kitchens to choose from and 2 large seating areas outside, one of which had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The pool area is slightly raised and again has incredible views. The owner Daniel and his wife Candida were the perfect hosts offering suggestions for local restaurants, night markets and other places of interest. It couldn't have been more perfect

For a week for our wedding. If you are after a rustic and comfortable place in Italy to stay then this is the place. If you are considering a wedding in an easy going venue, with brilliant hosts and an amazing backdrop, then again this is the place.

Perfect wedding, relaxing family holiday
My husband and I spent a magical week at Il Melograno in July this year, celebrating our wedding with our family and friends. We had first visited the villa a year before and immediately fallen in love with the stunning location - rolling hills, fields of sunflowers, Medieval hilltop towns and the Sibillini mountains in the distance. We knew it would be perfect for our wedding. And it was.
The villa itself is beautiful, clean, very well-maintained and true to the photos on the website. Rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. The pool was lovely and always clean. The gardens were also well looked after. The owners, Daniel and Candida are lovely, warm people who worked tremendously hard to ensure that we had the most amazing wedding day and week at the villa.
Whilst planning the wedding we were in close contact with Daniel and Candida via email and phone. They were very helpful and patient, offering their advice, experience and local knowledge but also listening to our ideas. They also made time for us to visit the villa and ceremony venue with them. They were always willing to offer extra help, eg suggesting accommodation nearby for guests, restaurant recommendations, booking taxis, minibuses and restaurants, giving advice when a member of our group was unwell and helping with onward travel arrangements.
Candida's food is wonderful. We had tasted some of her delicious cakes when we visited to plan the event. Our wedding meal was absolutely superb. Months later, the guests still talk fondly about the fantastic fish lasagne and the porchetta.
During the week we spent at Il Melograno, we and our families were able to fully relax and feel as though the villa was our home. There was plenty of space for us all to spread out and find a private spot when we needed to, but equally there were some lovely spaces to spend time altogether - we had some wonderful dinners together on the long table overlooking the valley and lots of fun playing water volleyball at the pool.
The kitchens were well-equipped, beds were comfortable, blankets were provided when evenings turned cool. With Daniel and Candida living in a separate house within the grounds, they were on hand when we needed help, but otherwise were unobtrusive, leaving us to relax and enjoy ourselves.
Il Melograno is a very special place. It is secluded, beautiful and relaxing but has plenty of options for exploring (beaches, mountains, lakes, old towns and villages). We will definitely be back!

Wonderful location for a family reunion
We had a WONDERFUL week at Il Melograno. The location was perfect – stunning views in a peaceful setting yet close to shops, restaurants and a number of beautiful villages – plus the surrounding area has plenty of activities which kept the whole group (19 of us aged 7 months to 72!) busy. Both the farmhouse and the cottage were well equipped and had everything we needed – having all ensuite rooms a definite bonus! In addition the grounds and gardens are beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed so that there was plenty of room for the kids to run around – in fact, they loved the trampoline so much the adults often had the pool to themselves – for people to find a quiet spot if they wanted, and for us all to sit down together for meals. Candida and Daniel were incredibly welcoming, finding out what events were happening during the week for us and helping with other practicalities such as directions and making reservations at restaurants. On the last night Candida cooked us a delicious meal with local ingredients, including the most amazing porchetta, which was a wonderful way to end a fantastic week.

we recently had a fabulous family(19 of us) holiday at villa pomegranate, Ancona. The location and the villa were absolutely breath-taking. The accommodation was of the highest standard. What made the holiday extra special was the hosts, Daniel and Candida. They gave us a really warm welcome and made us feel at home. They gave us lots of information about where to visit and places to eat. There was plenty of space for the oldies to find some peace and for the kiddies to play, swim and watch the live stock.
On our last night, we asked them to prepare the evening meal for us and they produced a wonderful, mouth-watering feast for both vegetarians and carnivores.

We spent a fantastic week at Il Melograno, the only negative was .... we had to leave. The house is beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings and is meticulously maintained. It is perfectly situated just 20 mins to the beach and about an hour to the mountains. The local village is 5 mins away by car with restaurants, supermarket and bars, there are also lots of other little picturesque hilltop villages within an easy 15 minute drive. Our favourite restaurants were Quadrifoligo, a chalet on the Porto san Giorgio seafront specialising in seafood and I Piceni, a 15 min drive away in Ortezzano. Daniel and Candida were perfect hosts, always on hand without being intrusive and their help and advice help make our stay memorable. we would have no hesitation in recommending Il Melograno and we intend returning very soon.

The Perfect Setting for a Special Family Gathering
A gorgeous house in the most stunning of settings - we are just back from a special family gathering, from grandparents to grandchildren, at Villa Pomegranate. As a party of 14, there was plenty of space to hang out together, but at the same time for each of us to have our own personal space in the beautiful house and grounds of the property.
The house is fabulous, well equipped and sensitively restored - very authentic. Almost all bedrooms being ensuite. The downstairs twin rooms are the only rooms with shared bathroom, but this worked perfectly for our family with three under 5s.
The grounds are stunning with incredible views over the family farm (filled with beautiful sunflowers at the time of our stay), rolling hills and hilltowns with the Siblini mountains in the distance. Breathtaking.
The swimming pool was secure (great with kids), very clean, had loads of sunny and shaded areas with seating. Perfect on the hot days of our stay. We also spent lots of time at the beach at Saint Giorgio approx 20mins away. A great balance.
Daniel and his family were most welcoming. While they live on site in their own property, they were always so helpful and accommodating without ever being intrusive. Daniel was always on hand to help with restaurant recommendations and bookings, Candi baked us the most delicious cakes and catered a special meal for us on one night of our stay. It was one of our best meals of the holiday!
Overall we would very highly recommend Villa Pomegranate and the beautiful Le Marche region. We hope to be back..

Beautiful house in a glorious location
My family needed a special house to host our large family for our parents 40th wedding anniversary and we were fortunate enough to stumble across this gem in the Italian hills. I travelled from NY and it was well worth the long haul. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and extremely well taken care of by the villa owners who live in a smaller house on the land. The house itself was beautiful - the bedrooms were nicely decorated, very comfortable and the living space and kitchen were also great. The highlight of the house is its incredible location. It is perched at the top of a hill that overlooks the magnificent countryside, rolling hills, and neighboring villages of Le Merche. The grounds and gardens of the farm are beautifully manicured and cared for by the owners. The swimming pool was wonderful for the children and for cooling down on the warmer days. The warm of hospitality of the owners and their young children was exceptional, and they went beyond the call of duty to keep us happy and welcomed on their farm. On a couple of occasions they brought us cakes that were baked in their family home. The location of the house itself was great. While you need a car to get to the beach (about a 20 minute drive) there are lots of beautiful villages and restaurants a short distance from the house to visit / dine at. An added bonus is that the owners cooked a beautiful meal for us for our parents anniversary. For a modest cost per head - they sourced amazing ingredients from the local farms in the district and cooked a beautiful meal that we will never forget. An easy five stars. Highly recommended. I hope to be fortunate enough to make it back again some day!
