The warm welcome, hospitality and communication with the hosts Brigitte & Jean. After reservation we received directly by email info about Casa Cacao and some links for visiting Marseille. The area where the villa is positioned in Marseille is in the ambassador quarter, because you’re staying at the ambassador of São Tomé. The villa is close to small supermarkets and bakeries, about 5 minutes walk. I recommend the bio bakery Hats, where you buy bread at weight not per piece. Best bread we ever ate ! The nice garden with all the facilities that we could use and the secure parking on their property. Because outside in the street you have to pay.

The gite was not so clean everywhere, the water taps in the kitchen and bathrooms were covered with much chalk. Some walls were not clean. And in the past there where some leakages you can see it on the laminate floor. The air conditioning in both bedrooms were not cooling. My dad didn’t sleep well because of the mattress of the bed, but the other 3 beds were good enough for a few nights. The overall conclusion is that the villa Casa Cacao is spacious, more then enough room for 4 adults, the Casa is renovated inside but not by a professional and you can see and notice that everywhere. Everything is just not 100% like it should like/have to be. But nevertheless it’s ok to stay there.
