Underground car park exit ramp. Very difficult to use. Had to cross the ramp, reverse back over and down to align car straight, as to turn into, not possible for my BMW 320D. Spinning tyres. Then went straight up. Okay

Good location, nice room, secure underground parking.

It wasn’t clear on booking that you had to pay €17 for parking. Impossible to get anything to eat until after 8.30pm & then only a sandwich was possible.

From the moment we walked in the staff from reception to cleaners were fantastic. We came back every night to a freshly cleaned room and beds made. It was situated perfectly for us and only a forty minute walk into the centre when we explored the city. There was works on at the Casino next door and we were never disturbed by any noise

There was nothing about our stay that we didnt like.

The hotel provided all of our requirements, it was clean, very comfortable, good food and good location. As our ferry was cancelled on our due date we had no hesitations of booking another night and would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone.

Nothing at all

Big room. Gorgeous view of the ocean, from the two windows in our room, you could even hear waves at night. Excellent french windows. The area in which the hotel is located is luxury, calm, with beautiful beaches and the coastline. Comfortable beds. Large bathroom with a bathtub.

Very bad internet. Breakfast could have more variety, no vegetables at all. Poor outdated hair dryer in the room. Thin walls, you can hear your neighbors quite well. Doors slam hard even with the lightest touch. Poor cleaning: the bath was not washed during the whole stay (3 days) the garbage (like the the pizza carton) was never removed from the floor.

breakfadt and the helpfulness of the staff especially the gent who moved us to an alternative room when the room next to our original room was noisy due to 4 or 5 males making lots of noise up till 23.40hrs.

Ideal location close to the sea in Santander. Enjoyable walks on front and to Palacio de la Magdalena. Beautiful building and comfortable, clean room.

Breakfast was disappointing for this class of hotel.

Only 2 of the PowerPoints in the room worked. No light in the suite area (PowerPoint with the lamp didn’t work)

A grand looking hotel close to beaches & costal walks with a small but nice selection of bars and cafes on the doorstep. Good breakfast and secure parking. From or to the ferry it's a fairly short and straightforward drive.

It's a fairly large hotel which to be fair we didn't really explore and whilst we had no complaints with the room it seemed expensive for a hotel with no real outstanding points or features.

Nice comfortable room. The facilities were very good. The location on the seafront was great and it is in close proximity to bars, restaurants etc.

The dinning room was very gloomy and devoid of atmosphere.

The breakfast

The breakfast was below standard as the waitress was not keeping an eye on the hot food and the fried eggs were stone cold and the bacon had run out. We asked for it to be replenished, and it was by a small amount. We ate early as had a long journey ahead of us. Some people came in after us, had a look and walked back out. Not good for a 4 star rated hotel.

The breakfasts were excellent as usual but the set evening meal for 26 euros was very good value and such good quality. The location of the hotel is great opposite a large sandy beach and within walking distance of a number of others. The staff in the hotel are always friendly and helpful.
