comfortable bed, ac worked well, wifi did not work in my room but in the Lobby and Restaurant the wifi was Good. Restaurant is across the street looking at the ocean.

The room is nice and big, cleaned upon request. Restaurant is right downstairs, they also offer a bunch of extra services, including currency exchange, which is very handy in Sri Lanka.
AC was out of order some days but this is mainly due to power cuts.

Huge family room with a large king bed and two singles, plus a balcony. Excellent air conditioning and fans, plus mosquito nets. Lovely pool and the bar and restaurant overlooking the sea was fantastic. Great food, fantastic views - we saw sea turtles from the bar area and got to swim with the turtles in nearby Polhena beach (although I think you could snorkel just next to the hotel and they were able to lend us snorkels). There are other restaurants nearby too within walking distance. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Lovely gift shop too!
They didn't offer mineral water in the rooms but it was available for purchase in the bar.

Very friendly staff who made you feel welcome and happy to help. The owner even arranged for my friend to attend a clinic to get her covid test for onward travel, going above and beyond. Location was fantastic right on the beach and a short walk from the doctors house but far enough away to not hear the party.
Unfortunately the hotel did not have a generator so during the planned power cuts set by the government we had no power in our room. I guess it wasn’t the hotels fault and would not be the norm.

Quiet hotel in a quiet area,restaurant and bar right on the beach with most rooms set back in a separate building across a quiet beach road. Food and drinks prices reasonable,swimming pool. Very helpful and attentive front desk manager.

Two years beck hotel have nice cleen beach, now absolutly dirty beach, dont understand.
Pool have lot of chemicals inside,
Only couple options for breakfest, no possible eat every Day long time.
All hotel need general cleening.
Rooms need closet, have only small closet for maximum 5 t- shirts .

The Sri Lanka Family owned Hotel is fantastic!
clean & confortable rooms, great pool and a delicious Restaurant with a wonderful seasite terasse. the staff is very friendly and reception so helpful.

A couple of nights were too noisy. There were parties next to the hotel, that is not the fault of the hotel, but rooms could be more soundproof.

car parking is bad, need a clos car parking in hotel that is the most important thing to make if this parking facility is ok this place is excellent

Nice pool, but the property restaurant is on the opposite side of the road and the beach view is not what is expected. One has to access the beach from the road. The place looks run-down but staff is great and friendly. Covid has brought on a lot of this as they are trying to keep open. Some lovely restaurants just down the road keep you fed well. Indika is a nice person and it is very family-friendly.

This is an ideal place for a vacation at down south of Sri Lanka. it has a great sea view.. Staff is very enthusiastic and helpful. Food is delicious. Rooms are very comfortable. It's a good stay for a reasonable price
