Staff is not friendly

the Pousada is conveniently located next to the city center. The common areas of the place are pretty and even if the rooms are basic, they are comfortable and clean.The breakfast was good! Overall it is great value for money.

Great location, room was simple but had everything i needed. Staff was great.

Shower could turn scalding hot or frigid cold instantly, not sure why. Window in bathroom had no screen, so mosquitoes could enter the room - i got several bites during the night despite the electric mosquito repellent 24x7.

The atmosphere, the view, location, a spacious family room and the heated pool. Very nice for a swim after a day of visiting the city, specially with children.

It’s located in the heart of the historical centre. The staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome. There are amenities like swimming pool, sauna, bar, resting areas with comfortable sofas indoors and outdoors, hammocks and Japanese garden.

I liked everything. Some guidance on how to use the shower would be great. I struggled a bit to make it work, but in the end I managed without asking the staff.

It was very clean and the decor was really nice. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The pool was great as well as all the outdoor areas. The bedsheets were great.

The room was smaller than I was expecting and the bathroom too, the sink was quite small.

Breakfast is fair. Location is ok.

we paid a fortune for a suite that smells of mold and the only window is in the wardrobe. room is like a sacofago. have no ideia who could have planned such a room. would never go back. was looking for a place in the old town and got mislead by the good reviews of this one. maybe the normal room is fine and has a window in the right place. definitely not the suite. in the description here says “balcony” and there is nothing like that. unless they think the corridor leading to room is a balcony. didn’t have bathrobes either. all lies!

The pousada is in a very nice neighbourhood, i.e., the only-pedestrian old town of Paraty. The rooms are nicely done, the whole pousada is beautifully decorated and feels authentic.

The breakfast was surprisingly boring and the breakfast room rather clinical compared to the otherwise fantastic hotel. The buffet is a standard continental breakfast, a few more Brazilian treats would have been nice.

Excelent Staff and facilities, good location (Paraty historical downtown) and good breakfast!
