Great location.

The layout of the apt is very odd with multiple heavy fire doors; 1 between the living room and bedroom, and 2 between the bedroom and bathroom. This makes it hard to move around quietly and there is also a sensor light in that hallway that shines right on the bed when someone is to use the bathroom in the night. We couldn’t find how to turn this off. The bed is also 2 singles pushes together, so doesn’t make for the most comfortable sleep.

The property is in an excellent location, a 5-minute walk from the centre of York with parking facilities which worked perfectly for us! The property was a generous size and nicely decorated, it even has its own patio - which would have been nice if the rain had let up! Jed, the host, was excellent in their communication, and helped facilitate the delivery of flowers to the property prior to the arrival of my partner and I which was much appreciated. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend this property to couples or individuals looking to stay in York.

Quirky little place, well equipped. Having the park sna back access was lovely.

A suggestion would be for door wedges for inside to keep air flow. Little comforts like a tea towel would help.

The property was absolutely gorgeous with great facilities and situated right near the centre. The free car parking spot was an added bonus too

The rooms need a good deep clean, very dusty lamp shade above the bed and the shower is full of mould. The property is on a noisy street and other residents in the building cause disturbance if you’re needing a good sleep The boiler and radiators started vibrating, all the residents when asked were woken by this and having to turn the radiators on full blast in order to stop the vibrating caused a sauna!!!

The location was excellent and the apartment itself was perfect. Everything we needed was supplied and communication with the owner was quick and easy. Would highly recommend staying here whether you're staying a few days or longer!

Fabulous location. Apartment more spacious than expected - lovely big bathroom with huge shower enclosure. Fairly quiet area. Owner always available online, easy to communicate.

WiFi very poor or non-existant at times, and as I was working it was difficult to achieve my goals for the 2 days I was there. However, the phone signal was poor but accessible there, so I could use my own data. The upstairs neighbours were extremely noisy, walking and clomping about on what I suspect is wooden floors, so not condusive to a good night's sleep! However, this cannot be blamed upon the owner of our apartment. Cleanliness was generally very good, especially the bathroom - but our kitchen area has a considerable amount of food waste and crumbs, particularly inside cupboards and on recesses of the handles on kitchen cabinets. Not so bad as to upset us, and we were forgiving as it was a great place to stay, and the owner had provided tea, coffee, milk and sugar. However, whilst we were more than happy to wipe up and clean areas obviously missed by the cleaner (little attention to detsail), I suspect others may not feel so ready to 'lend a hand' when paying for a stay.

Location couldn't have been better. Right in the centre of York within walking distance of everything. Clean and comfortable accommodation.

The location was perfect. The apartment was clean and modern with everything we needed.

The front door did slam when people came in and out. Everything else was lovely

I liked the fact that it had parking and there was a lovely pub garden just out the back of the property. My favourite part was definitely the location, it is fabulous.

Drunk people banging on your door and window at all hours and having to call the police. Ringing the owner who still hasn’t replied two days after. The TV didn’t work in bedroom plus TV in living room only had 5 channels which some didn’t come on till 10.00 pm. The pictures of the apartment was definitely taken with a long angled camera. Big enough for two but not that big.

Bathroom was lovely and very spacious, bedroom was nice with really comfortable bed. Nice that there was fresh milk and tea and coffee in the apartment.

The internet connection was really bad. Both televisions had either no tv reception or just a couple of channels. The bathroom was very clean but the rest of the apartment was covered in dust and there where spiders webs in all corners of the bedroom.

Excellent location. Free parking an added bonus. Host good communication and nice added touch

Location was great and parking fabulous.

The finish was rether shabby. Damp smell throughout flat. TV in lounge was not working properly as could only get 5 obscure channels. Wifi poor also. A few touches in the right places could make a big difference.
