We rented one of the 3 bedroomed apartments - ground floor of the big house – for 4 weeks. Property was very comfortable and spacious with fans and AC in all the bedrooms. We had a lovely balcony looking out onto the lush, green garden. Plenty of birdlife to spot. Beds were really comfortable and we all slept really well. We had 3 bathrooms with excellent showers. The properties are set in a safe and secure compound near the family home – set back from the road. Quiet and secluded. We have holidayed in this area before and this property is very well located. A 5 minute walk to Palolem beach and 10-15 minutes to Patnem beach. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance and some small local shops nearby. We recommend the family run Kashish café for breakfast, lunch or dinner – it is a 2 minute walk from the property. Its a short auto-rickshaw ride into Chaudi - a busy little town with a great fruit and veg market on Saturday mornings. Our hosts, Prakesh, his wife Pooja and daughter Priya were very friendly and helpful. Prakesh advised us on local attractions, where to get what we wanted and arranged taxis at our request. He will also organise rental of scooters or push-bikes. We booked the property a few months in advance via Priya. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. Priya’s English is very good and she is really helpful and reliable. We had a fantastic holiday staying at this property and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you to Prakesh, Pooja and Priya for looking after us so well.

The rental is relatively expensive for the area and payment is in cash. Getting out money from a (foreign) bank account is not easy in the area and there’s a charge. However there are plenty of currency exchange places offering good rates of exchange. As it’s not possible (certainly in the UK) to buy rupees before you travel I recommend you take your own currency with you to exchange in Palolem or Patnem.

I booked 1BHK house in this property. Location good. Surrounded by Greenery and Trees. Hosts are very caring. Rooms are clean and spacious. refrigerator available but no TV (in 1 BHK house). AC available in bedroom but not in hall. Dining table is available. Hall has more than enough seating sofas and chairs. There is a shortcut to reach the sea beach ( 8 -10 minutes walk) during day time but avoid taking that shortcut route after sunset. By proper road its around 2 km to reach the main entry of the Palolem beach. Hosts are really nice people.

Not much comfort, but ok to spend a night. Not much option of food and breakfast nearby. Whatever options are there are not of good quality food and prices are too high. Pics shown in the site are of 3BHK apartment. If you are booking for 1 BHK, plz ask for pics before booking. If you looking for comfortable stay for 1 night then ok but not if you looking for little more comfort and luxury. Be specific about check-in and check-out timings.

Host, cleanliness, Wifi connectivity and all the facilities

The room was spacious and clean. The location is very close to the beach and near great restaurants! The bathroom was large, the shower was warm and the aircon worked well. The owners are very friendly, they helped us rent a scooter and gave us directions for buses etc. Overall a brilliant place to stay for an extremely reasonable price, would definitely stay again!!

The mattress could do with a topper as you can feel the springs a little, but we still slept well.

5 mins from Cancona Railway station, 3 mins from the highway.. Palolem beach around 1.5 km, Rajbagh beach around 4 km.. situated at a wonderful position, in house cooking facility makes it ideal for families with new born or little baby.. Prakash uncle and Priya have been fabulous hosts.. Great value for money

The apartment was in a very nice complex so everything felt safe and secure. The owner was very kind, we rented the scooter from them, they called a taxi to the airport for us. The room was with AC, fridge and a fan that made AC unecessary at times.

We liked every thing. Prakash uncle & priya are very helpful. You can ask Prakash uncle for local sights to visit. He suggested us few super sights.
