the suite was very comfortable and had everything we needed (air con, fridge, coffee, balcony etc), great shower too. staff were super helpful and did everything to make us enjoy our stay, when we checked out we were able to use public showers before our flight home which was really nice

only thing was there was some construction next door that started early in the morning

Gorgeous landscaped grounds, excellent pool, and the rooms are well outfitted and very clean.

Need about three more umbrellas around the pool area.

I wouldn’t choose the “Ocean view” room again. It’s located right under the roof so there were many little crevices where various bugs and ants came in. We had to spray continuously with insect spray… but big ants and even some cockroaches kept coming in.

The beautiful setting with amazing gardens and amazing views out to sea. The pool area is lovely and relaxing and the area is easily walkable to come great resturants including the chill a kill which is directly nextdoor and great for breakfast/lunch and then el neno on the resturant strip was lovely for food and cocktails. This area is very close to the airport (only a 10min drive) and have enough to do in the easily walkable area for a relaxing holiday.

The other main bar and resturant area of zicatela and La Punta are too far to walk and require a taxi (15-20mins) so if you want to go out late in the evenings it may be better to be in that area

The pool and courtyard are incredibly beautiful, calm, and relaxing. Our room was comfy and had a lot of local flavor.

The shower was not warm and had about 8 small streams shooting out of it in all directions. One day the maid accidentally locked the door to the bedroom in our suite, but didn’t tell anyone, and when we asked about it they told us they didn’t have the key to that door – I had to pick the lock with a knife.

Beautiful magical hotel! It is super pretty!

The wifi connection was quite poor and it disconnected in the last day of our stay. We booked standard room with fan. It was quite hot even with the fan on. I Recommend to provide boiling water handy for the guests.

Clean, comfortable, good hot shower, nice pool, small special touches like fresh flowers in your room everyday. The garden is well kept and beautiful, relaxing. Great staff, gave us extra pillows and pool and beach towels to use. Location was good, close to a very nice beach, but if you want to go to Playa Ziccatella where most of the shops and restaurants/bars are then it’s a taxi ride away -still only 80pesos so it was fine.

This place was so magical!! Amazing garden & pool at the entrance. The property is beautifully maintained & a lovely old hacienda style. The owner was celebrating her 83rd birthday party the day I arrived and invited me along with all her guests, guests from former years returned just to attend which speaks to her character! She is amazing. Don’t miss this unique gem! Many guests stay for extended periods even months, so it feels like a little community & everyone is welcoming and friendly. Unforgettable experience.

The garden area could do with a bit of sweeping around it and there was a bit of construction going on around suggesting the hotel will increase in size. something to be aware of if looking for a boutique experience

The pool area was lush with vegetation and the staff were all very helpful. The location was also good.

There is building work going on. This woke us up at 8 every morning and ruined some of ambiance as there were builders carrying rubble past the pool. This should have be mentioned by the hotel before arrival. Our room was rather dated with the both the bathroom and bedroom furniture in need of updating. Other rooms at the hotel looked newer though.

Quiet area at the beach. Close to the beach restaurants. The staff were very accommodating. We arrived at 6 am and they were able to check us in

The property was well kept and felt safe, the room was clean and comfortable, and service was great. Perfect spot to stay if you want to relax or be a short walk to Carrizalillo Beach. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and great spots to catch the sunset. They provide beach/pool towels if needed and have a bar if you’re planning to hang out by the pool.
