The location was magnificent

Alan whipped up a full Irish breakfast for us and it was delicious. The views are incredible as it’s right along the water. Alan greeted us with tea and was available in the evening to help us with anything but not intrusive. There is a common living room which was nice to watch tv in and allowed us to spread out.

The Ocean view from our bedroom was spectacular. Host treated us to tea and biscuits on arrival and made us feel welcome with a chat about how area. He also allowed us to top up/charge our EV using his outside 13amp socket.

Alan was very welcoming- and made with a much needed cup of tea on our arrival. The view from our bedroom window was absolutely stunning. Loved the decor too.

Fab location and owner was so welcoming and helpful

Alan was a wonderful host and always a step ahead of our plans with suggestions which made it so easy for us to make the most of our stay - as the weather was beautiful we got to have tea on the balcony overlooking the water and enjoyed a trip to the Skelligs the next day! Highly recommend Alans place when you are looking for a wonderful time (including great Irish breakfast) on Valentia Island!

The location was amazing, the views were beautiful! Alan was so friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend to a friend.

Breakfast was very well cooked to order with a great selection of fruit, cereals, yogurt, jam and juice. Spotlessly clean, communal lounge tastefully decorated very relaxing atmosphere.

The bathroom, while very clean with plenty of complimentary toiletries was very small, the toilet was very low to the ground. My husband found it hard to use.

It is a bit far away but the location is beautiful with a nice lounge/balcony of great view for sunset and night starry sky. It is recommended when you drive. Alan is so friendly and helpful. He knows everything around and can give perfect recommendations. The room is tidy and the bed is comfortable.

The badroom is a bit old but works well still.

Amazing view and location. Definitely a hidden gem. Worth visiting the island and staying at this place for amazing views and no tourists.

Amazing view, quietness and a remarkable host who got us on a Skellig Michael landing tour for the next day in hi-season! Also loved the Royal Valentia pub in Knightstown (no other choice but it’s good).
