Nice staff. A nice breakfast buffet with a large choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and croissants. But my omelet was overcooked and the coffee definitely too weak.

We paid 212 euros per room, a price level where you expect a perfect room (at that price, you're even often offered slippers and a bath robe). But my bathroom didn't even have a towel rack (I had to hang my towel to the door knob !) and the shower curtain hat got off two of its rings. My friend's room had no toilet rolls. The hotel also advised us to have dinner in a nearby restaurant which displays its cards and menus in the rooms. So there must be an agreement between the two. The place was just okay, but had no interest and looked like a touristy place. So on the whole, The Brook Lodge is a nice hotel but certainly not worth this price. It is definitely overrated - probably because Killarney has recently become a disappointing tourist trap.

Excellent location close to town centre but very private, ample parking, no fuss check in, friendly & courteous reception.

My Mam and I liked everything about Brooklodge. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Adriana, everything was fantastic. The room was very spacious,comfortable, and spotless. The breakfast was great, and very good value. Every one of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. Even though it is around the corner from the main street of Killarney town,it felt as if it was in the country as it was so quiet, and has a lovely garden. The property has a spacious car park which is an added bonus.
