the staff were excellent. so polite, always helpful, could not have asked for more. very good location. easy to call blue bird taxi to the hotel. BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING!

Room size and staff service

This was my second time staying at Morrissey Apartment. The first time was few years ago and i was very impressed with the hotel (design, room size and services was excellent). In my second visit, however, I have a mixed reviews and rather disappointed with the declining quality. The check in was pretty late (My room was ready at 15.45 pm after waiting a little while), the room (supposedly non smoking room) smell like smoke and there's shower leakage in my room. In addition there's a construction next to building where the workers worked till late around 11 pm and call to prayers that I could easily hear. So light sleepers beware! However, the hotel staffs were helpful and responsive. They tried their best to find solutions particularly for the smoke smell (though did not resolve the noise problems as moving to different room wouldnt help either)

The staff and security are friendly and always greet you with warm smile. Love the lobby/drop off area as there are seats and smoking area. Swimming pool area is nice. Breakfast is normal. Receptionist is helpful and they serve you drinks and red velvet mini cake when arrived.

There is a lot of mosquitoes at the smoking area. Sadly, I think the bed is a join by two single beds as the bed in the middle concave but the quality of the bed and pillow is nice. Position of tv a little low but I think can be adjusted.

There were a lot of breakfast options which was really nice, but there isn't much for vegetarians. The staff were helpful but need to improve their English if they are going to be at the desks. The room was really nice, they even had a sofa in there! Big TV, comfy bed, powerful shower, extra pillows, own little kitchen, big fridge and spacious room. The hotel was big and the rooftop was really nice.

I was pulling the blinds up in the morning and it broke and smashed my hand. If i was a few inches further forward, it would have smashed on my head and given me serious injury. I went and told the staff what happened and they were like ok we'll fix it. Within minutes it was fixed. This to me shows they know it's a known issue, which is very bad as they should have fixed this and not let us have that room. They didn't offer an apology or do anything as a kind gesture. It was very very disappointing. There were also a really strong smell downstairs in the main lobby which was hard to take.

there are substantial building works going on next to the hotel, which will last for a while. The hotel is aware and trying to minimise disruption. We were fine, the noice was quite bearable, but it needs mentioning.

Everything was good. The staff are very helpful and happy answer any questions. Breakfast is always good and the room menu great.

Room could be a little less dusty

We went during Pandemi, the staff, cleanliness, breakfast, pool, everything was great as usual. There was maintenance in d playground but the staff organized tent building games and puzzle that makes my children more than happy to join. They provide ice cream, popcorn and snack as well. It was fun! Thanks Morrissey, sure we will be back soon!
