Wendy and David were fantastic hosts! Incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and generally great people. The views were awesome, the breakfast delicious. Incredibly quiet, perfect location to relax.

Too far to walk to town.

We stayed in Hidden Lodge Queenstown for three nights, which was great! The rooms are nice and cosy, the view is superb and the breakfast is good. Staff working there are really lovely and very friendly.

For the price you pay per night, the breakfast has to be more generous!

I chose to stay at Hidden Lodge because I was impressed by all the very positive reviews and it did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and helpful. Even before we arrived, they offered an early check-in. The view from the lodge is beautiful and I enjoyed sitting in the lounge for a few hours with a glass of wine. Since there’s only 4 rooms the Lodge feels very comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was also great and they also accommodated an earlier breakfast for my dad who had to head to the airport early. Overall a fantastic end to our two weeks in New Zealand.

We stayed for four nights and had a great room which opened directly out to the garden, but on one occasion our room wasn’t serviced at all and another day the bedding was just pulled up in a haphazard fashion and our towels weren’t changed at all. The breakfast was quite limited either a fruit/granola option or eggs, although I did get a couple of eggs as well as fruit when I asked for them on the last morning.

The accommodation was just perfect, food perfect, location perfect, staff perfect!

The lakeside setting is gorgeous - we particularly loved the views from our spacious and comfortable room. The friendly and helpful staff were great, too!

Million dollar view. The best view and exclusive. You have the lake and mountain all to yourself. The apartment is just right in front of the lake.

Bedroom size a bit small. But you can use the living, dining, outdoor area, which are amazingly huge and with beautiful view.
