Hillview was a convieient place for my friend and i to stay as i had family in Deal and Dover,so St Margarets was bang in the middle,my friend and i were very comfortable at Hillview,it was cosy and very quiet,the beds were extremely comfortable,too comfortable infact,my friend had some work to finish so having WFI and alittle area seperate from the bedroom to work was brilliant.The owners were friendly and amenable,a lovely couple.

The signal for the TV was poor,but it didnt hinder or spoil our stay,we got time to catch up on our book reading,after all you can stay home and watch TV.

Very convenient and peaceful location, just a short walk to the centre of the village. Spacious accommodation. The sea-themed decoration is both tasteful and interesting. A home from home.

The owners were helpful and welcoming. The location was good for where we wanted to go and within easy reach of the beach. The bedroom was light and airy and beds were comfortable and clean and plenty of fresh towels.

The annex was self contained, but the owners came in to use the washing machine while we were out, through a door into their kitchen, which could not be locked. The shower room was cold and needed cleaning and the cubicle needs a deep clean. The kitchenette was unworkable, no worktops available to use, because there was a large tumble drier on the only one. The few cupboards there was were full of the owners things. There was another room which again was full of the owners music equipment, strange set up. The only heating was from a small fan heater in the bedroom, it turned cold at nights while we were there, so we were cold. I did ask if the radiators worked and was told the heating was not switched on yet.

Wonderful hosts and place. Perfect for a couple of days trip. Clean and equipped with everything you need.

Where do I start? Amanda & Roy @ Hillview are amazing hosts , they really do a fabulous job making sure their guests are having a good stay with going that extra mile .A lovely welcoming by both hosts explaining everything we needed to know , giving us information on local places to visit .Our room was clean and Amanda & Roy had thought of everything, we had tea / coffee milk in the fridge ready upon arriving. The bathroom was lovely with shower all decor was seaside theme absolutely enjoyed my 2 night stay I felt like I was at home as these hosts gave us such a wonderful experience and mother and myself would definitely recommend Hillview 100% . We had space in their garden with table and chairs which lit up in the evening very pleasant indeed . A lovely family and a lovely place to stay Thank you .

This was a great place to stay and was very comfortable. The location is great. Walk to the top of the hill and have breakfast in the Sunrise Cafe/Bar. Then use the bus service to explore the coast. (Really good value if you download the app) Best part is, when the bus brings you back at the end of the day, the Sunrise Cafe/Bar is open with a double G&T at £5.00!) Enjoy!

Our host was very accommodating and helpful - milk; beach towels and beach shoes all provided....really appreciated their hospitality.
